Event Invite: Celebrate Black History Month With Chef Marcus Samuelsson in Atlanta! Monday 13 February, 2017
Happy Black History Month! Want to celebrate the month with a little bit a flavor?
Join Macys at Lenox Square mall for a celebration of Black Art and Culture, featuring a panel discussion with award-winning Macy’s Culinary Council Chef, Marcus Samuelsson.
Who is Marcus Samuelsson? Chef Marcus Samuelsson took the culinary world by storm at age 24 after becoming the youngest chef to ever receive a three-star restaurant review from The New York Times! Born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden Samuelsson brings a unique fusion of culinary talents making his recipes anything but ordinary!
Macy’s Culinary Council Chef Marcus Samuelsson will have a special cooking event to Celebrate his new cookbook, The Red Rooster Cookbook: The Story of Food and Hustle in Harlem and Black History Month! Impress your family & friends with tips from our very own Macy’s Culinary Council Chef Marcus Samuelsson. Learn from the master chef as he shares stories and secrets on how to prepare some of his favorite award-winning dishes. The best part? There will be plenty of scrumptious samples to enjoy, and performances by Harlem-based band The Rakiem Walker Project and NYC-based dance group W.A.F.F.L.E.!
Im actually excited because I got a chance to eat at the famous Harlem Restaurant Red Rooster two summers ago! I’m excited for the inspired dishes to make its way to the A!
