The Performances
Celeste Holmes did an amazing performance with her female impersonation of a blinged out Marilyn Monroe. I kept thinking, did my Drag Queen Birthday Brunch come early? She was awesome, I couldn’t stop watching her! Another female impersonator performed a cute baby dollesque show that was also amazing.
“In addition to having a great time, guests helped raise$141,500 that could provide more than 14,150 Metro Atlanta women with access toclinical breast exams, a critical step in detecting and surviving breast cancer.”
I overall had a fabulous time! This event coincided with my born-day and I had a pinkalicious time! It was such a classy but modern and fun event. There was definitely a lot of bubbles and blingery (is that a word) going on. I felt bad because I really wanted to wear pink, but I couldn’t find a cute pink dress that I wanted in time, but thats ok! I was able to wear a pink tutu during the event!
Now this was the most fun for me! Everyone knows my love for all things photos and fun, so at the Susan B.Komen step & repeat, there were tutus that we can wear to ours support for Tutus & Tatas! My friend Nina & I live for these kind of photo ops so we took several pictures for fun and giggles!
MEN IN TUTUS
Overall this was a great way to spend my birthday for a wonderful cause to bring awareness about breast cancer. This 1st annual event for bubbles and bling was a success, and I can’t wait until next year’s celebration! Great way to bring in my birthday! Cheers!
Love Social Media-lite,
this is so much fun!! I thoroughly enjoy the recap. Such a fun event for such a great case. The men in the tutus were my favorite. 🙂
