Executive Producer Carlos King and the ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ Cast “Spill the Tea” at Exclusive LA Event Tuesday 12 November, 2024
OWN Network threw an exciting celebration for the launch of the new season of their popular reality series, Love & Marriage: Huntsville, with a special live conversation and reception at NYA Studios West in Los Angeles. The event had all the glamour with reality star and Executive Producer Carlos King looking sharp, joined by castmates Kimmi Scott, Maurice Scott, LaTisha Scott, and Marsau Scott.
Among the crowd were some heavy hitters from OWN, including TINA PERRY, President of OWN Network; SHIRLEY SALOMON, Vice President of Production; DARYL BOLANDER, Vice President of Programming & Development; and DREW TAPPON, Head of Unscripted Development and Executive Producer of Love & Marriage: Huntsville. They all raised a glass to celebrate OWN’s top series!
The evening kicked off with a lively red carpet, followed by a captivating sizzle reel showcasing OWN, Love & Marriage: Huntsville, and the partnership with Carlos King and Kingdom Reign Productions. After the sizzle, Carlos made a grand entrance, welcoming guests and introducing The Scotts.
The conversation that followed was real and heartfelt, focusing on black love, the show’s evolution on OWN, and authentic storytelling. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause! The festivities continued with a classy reception where guests enjoyed themed cocktails like Carlos Spills The Tea, Spicy Love & Marriage Margarita, and Reign Drops, alongside delicious hors d’oeuvres. It was a great chance to mingle with local NAACP and NABJLA members as well as the press.
OWN highlighted the importance of supporting African American creators and telling stories that genuinely reflect our culture and community, leaving everyone feeling inspired and uplifted.
