HAVE A TROPICAL FOODIE GETAWAY IN ATLANTA: TROPICALE Monday 31 August, 2020
You know I miss traveling, severely. I literally haven not left Atlanta since the pandemic, this is an honest and true statement even as I write this post. I kept saying I need a trpocial getaway, and I somewhat got my prayers answered. There is a new semi-hidden gem in Atlanta called Tropicale, that gives you Havana in the heart of the ATL!
The entire place is an outdoor spot, which is perfect for the vibes and feeling like you are in some tropical oasis. The decor was also up to par, and they even had a few palm trees and plants. There is even a cute VIP cabana area that has real beach sand for a true ocean resort vibe!
The main unspoken rule for all guest that I will disclaim to anyone who visits this beautiful place is WEAR YOUR VACATION GETAWAY BEST! So your tropical attire, resortwear, cruise wear, Caribbean outfits go all out. You are officially on vacation when you come to this place.

specialty cocktails include our specialties, rare pink Costa Rican pineapples filled with a unique rum mix, margaritas served inside of fresh watermelons, and a house pina colada served fresh from a branded coconut.
Another must when visiting this beautiful foodie getway is to make your trip start off on a good note, order a tropical themed drinks. You can get drinks in various ways they have several crafted tropical drinks but the prettiest ones come in a watermelon or a pineapple cocktail fruit cup!
Tropicale is a place with small places more than traditional dinner meals. This place is open at 5pm daily so the meals are only dinner options. They are small plates and tapas. Here are the items I choose during my outing.

As you can see, Tropical is perfectly designed to capture the essence of Havana Cuba and the tropics, the ambiance, food, service emanate a quintessential island vibe.
Here is the interesting part of Tropicale. As stated this place is a true hidden gem, meaning no walk-ins and RESEVERATIONS ONLY. Online reservations can only be made via their instagram here at instagram.com/tropicale_atl (Send a personal DM for reservations).
They have limited seating daily and making the reservation on Instagram makes it exclusive and its pretty in demand, so please book this days in advance. I would highly recommend even a week in advance! Treat this as if you are booking a vacation.

While I’ve never been on a foodie getaway (yet, at least!), I would love to try it for myself one of these days! It looks amazing.
