This sneak peek takes us on a journey back to the early days of our favorite characters—Mufasa, Scar, Sarabi, Rafiki, and Zazu—before they made Pride Rock their home. The film dives into the remarkable backstory of the cherished king of the Pride Lands. In a charming twist, Rafiki narrates the tale of Mufasa to Kiara, the young cub and daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumba adding their comedic flair. Through a series of flashbacks, we see Mufasa as an orphaned cub, wandering alone until he crosses paths with Taka, a lion with royal blood. This unexpected encounter sparks an adventure filled with misfits, as they all seek their place in the world.
