Make Atlanta Sweet Again: Candytopia Atlanta Friday 15 February, 2019

Willy Wonky, eat your heart out! Candytopia, the candy-coated experiential adventure that has delighted over half a million guests across the country, has officially opened the doors of its newest location in Atlanta at EDENS Lenox Marketplace (3535 Peachtree Road NE) in Buckhead for a limited-run event.
Canydtopia features more than one dozen rooms with larger-than-life interactive art installations and full sensory experiences inspired by pure, sugary bliss.

Guests are treated to candy samples throughout the entire experience including sours and gummies, chocolate treats, nostalgic favorites, and many sweet surprises
Candytopia offers 10 rooms filled with interactive experiences ranging from swings and marshmallow pits to photo-ops and, of course, candy. Check out some of my Insta-worthy candyland experiences below!
One of my favorite rooms. Warning: You will get confetti everywhere. It was literally my birthday, so this was a perfect celebration! So much confetti in all type of directions so much fun!! Just be prepared though..
I literally had this confetti in my hair for a week. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some still hidden in my hair (to my defense though I have a lot of hair for things to hide). No worries there are little blowers that can get the confetti out of your hair and clothes!
The Marshmellow pit was soooo fun. It isnt made with real marshmellow (darn) but it was so much fun.
Co-founder and candy artist Jackie Sorkin says Candytopia is not just for children, however. “We’ve really created magic for all ages — everyone is welcome here from the youngest child to the grumpiest grandpa. No matter who you are, you will have a great time.”
This candy mosaic photo was made in Jackie Sorkin likeness from jellybeans!
This is a muesum after all, so you can go walk in one of the room and admire many photo replicas of famous people and artwork made of candy pieces. When life imitates edible art…truly amazing!
Candytopia’s run will be limited as the sugar rush is in Atlanta until June 2nd, 2019. Take the trip down Candytopia lane and have a sweet time!
