Norwegian Bliss, the first cruise ship custom-built with features and amenities for the ultimate Alaska cruise experience.

Measuring 994 feet long, 136 feet wide, and at a gross registered tonnage of 168,028, she embarked on her journey down the Ems River and up to the North Sea in reverse, making the narrow passage through Meyer Werft’s sea lock, with less than four feet clearance.

When she arrives into Seattle in June, guests will be excited to experience many new first-at-sea activities, including the largest two-level race track at sea, new dining experiences, such as Q Texas Smokehouse and Coco’s a chocolate and treat shop, the Tony Award®-Winning Broadway Show Jersey Boys and much more for guests to explore.

Slide into the time of your life. With two multistory waterslides on board, Norwegian Bliss let’s you rush to adventure over and over again. Make it the best of three on Aqua Racer, our tandem waterslide at sea. And then get a thrill as you whoosh over the side of the ship on the double loop, Ocean Loops. Or call it a lazy day and lounge by the pools and hot tubs with a frozen drink in hand. However you like to make a splash, the Aqua Park is overflowing with excitement.

HAPPY HOUR PROHIBITION – THE MUSICAL 

Travel back in time to January 16, 1919 – the eve of the Prohibition era – for a rip roaring good time with the interactive show, Happy Hour Prohibition – The Musical. Set in world famous Madam Lulu’s New Orleans speakeasy, tantalizing madams will regale you with tales of bootleggers and some of the era’s most famous tunes that will have you dancing in the aisles. Savor five of your own Prohibition Era specialty cocktails, each with a modern twist, while enjoying an unforgettable night with Miss Lulu and her girls.

Please note that this show is not suitable for children under 16.

OBSERVATION LOUNGE

Experience sheer awe from our 180-degree indoor Observation Lounge – offering Norwegian’s most expansive views at sea. More than 3,500 square feet of floor-to-ceiling windows provide spectacular vistas while cruising past snow-capped mountains. Take time to relax with a complimentary bite to eat morning, noon and night. Interactive screens will help identify every incredible view, whether the glaciers of Alaska or the pristine beaches of The Caribbean. And with a full-service bar, you can toast colorful sunsets with your favorite cocktail.

Depart from Los Angeles on a 7- or 8-Day journey to the enchanting Mexican Riviera on Norwegian Bliss. Rappel through cascading waterfalls in Puerto Vallarta. Norwegian Bliss will then begin her passage across the Atlantic Ocean on April 21 and will arrive to the US on May 3, where she will begin her inaugural tour, the most extensive of any ship in Norwegian Cruise Line history.  Events will take place in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles, and then will conclude with a christening ceremony on May 30 at the new Pier 66 at the Port of Seattle in Washington State, followed by her inaugural cruise.

Following the preview events and christening, Norwegian Bliss will offer cruises to Alaska beginning June 2.  She will spend her summer sailing seven-day cruises to Alaska, and fall season cruising to the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles.  In winter of 2018 she will sail to the Caribbean from Miami, and in the 2019 fall/winter season she will cruise from New York City to Florida, the Bahamas and Caribbean.
