My First Pixar Visit for Toy Story 4 Press Day | Introducing Forky Wednesday 01 May, 2019
I have been waiting to share this incredible experience with you all as I got a wonderful opportunity to fly to San Fransisco to Pixar Studios to the official press junket for Toy Story 4!

The toys are back on the big screen with an all-new adventure in “Toy Story 4.” Woody, Buzz and the whole gang find themselves far from home, discovering new friends—and old ones—on an eye-opening road trip that takes them to unexpected places.
Fans around the world thought the toys’ story had ended when Andy brought his long-loved pull-string cowboy Woody and the gang—Buzz, Jessie, Slinky, Rex and the rest—to live with Bonnie, a young friend of the family who—like Andy—has a huge imagination when it comes to her toys.
The world owes to to Pixar Studios on the advancements of the cartoon animation being the catalyst of how we all watch these films today. It was an honor to visit the studio for the first time to give me all the feels and make 90s Kiwi so proud.
When you walk on the Pixar Studio property there is a larger than life Luxor Jr lamp and the famous Luxor Ball that greets you. Anyone who is a true Pixar fan have to get their photo opps here. Also do you notice my attire. I did a mini cosplay of Jessie from Toy Story! You know I cant go to a junket without being in theme!

I am literally the child of the 90s era where the inception of the original Toy Story was broadcasted to the world. Toy Storyis the animation that changed the way children today watch movies and even television shows today with one of the first cartoons to go from a 2D to 3D experience. In 1995, “Toy Story” marked a major milestone in animated moviemaking as the first fully computer animated feature film; it was the highest grossing movie of the year and nominated for three Oscars® and two Golden Globes®.
Literally my childhood dreams where coming true. Pixar Studios and I are actually 3 days apart when it comes to birthdays (you better wikipedia it because I am not telling you my age) so I have a closer bond to the company than I thought. You all have no idea how much it meant for me to be here, as Toy Story changed every 90s child life (you never looked at your toys the same again) and now as an adult I am so happy the franchise cartoon has a part 4! Woody and Buzzlight Year grew up with me and I am so happy to talk about them and some of their new friends!
There is a new character I got introduced to while on the Toy Story press junket. Forky is not a toy but a creation! Its literally a spork utensil turned into a imaginative product, which shows us all not all toys can be bought! Learn more about Forky’s character below.
ALL ABOUT FORKY
FORKY is not a toy! At least that’s what he thinks. An actual spork-turned-craft-project, Forky is pretty sure that he doesn’t belong in Bonnie’s room. Unfortunately, every time he tries to get away, someone yanks him back into an adventure he’d rather skip.
A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child. But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfill his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him.
So now that you learned a little about Forky, how cute is it that we got to do our own DIY Forky creations!
Pixar Studios gave us all the supplies to create our own versions of Forky! Clearly I went with the Mermaid sexy version of Forky! I will name her Forki

I cant say too much about the film yet, but what I will say it I love the Forky character. Forky is actually really funny and cute at the same time. I honestly believe after Toy Story 4 debuts in theaters, children will get creative and make their own Forky’s. I am so happy this will inspire children (and maybe adults) that playtime is anything you want it to be. You can make a “toy” out of anything and that is what makes it special. I cant wait to share with you more about Toy Story 4 and friends!

Ahhh! I am so excited for this movie! Toy Story is my absolute favorite Pixar franchise, and I am super stoked for the final chapter.
