Tyler Perry’s upcoming Netflix thriller, Straw, tackles the compelling question: what is your final straw? When Perry reached out to Taraji P. Henson with the idea for this dark thriller, she was instantly intrigued but had no idea just how powerful and relatable the film would turn out to be. The production coincided with her work on Peacock’s limited series Fight Night, putting her talent and ability to tackle complex roles front and center.
