Neyo’s All Day Brunch Spot in Atlanta | Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles Friday 28 May, 2021

Whats my favorite meal everyone? If you have been reading this blog or know me long enough you should of shouted “BRUNCH”. I got an opportunity to dine-in at R&B singer’s newest restaurant in Atlanta, Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles! Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles is an all-day (and night) breakfast and brunch spot is now open in College Park. I dined-in with my cousin and we had an amazing brunch spread!
I am a huge fan of brunch, so this All-Day brunch spot created by the singer Neyo! This restaurant is in collaboration with this wife Chef Crystal and Karlie Redd from VH1’s Love n’ Hip Hop ATL right near Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport!
Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles, as the name suggests, the restaurant’s signature menu item is the most popular brunch food in Georgia: chicken & waffles. The hybrid dish that combines breakfast and lunch is made with crispy and juicy fried chicken paired with fluffy and golden waffles. Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles’ guests will have the option to customize the famed Southern staple with mix-and-match proteins, plain or bacon-flavored waffles, sauces and add-on sides. Other sweet, savory and satisfyingly good grub include party starter Cheddar Drop Biscuits with whipped honey butter and strawberry preserves; Hot Skillet Cobbler desserts in apple or peach served with vanilla bean ice cream and salted caramel drizzle; Saints & Sinners Brioche French Toast Log served with either bacon, sunny side eggs and crispy garlic potatoes or berries, whipped topping and chocolate sauce; and The Mac Attack Chicken Sandwich with crispy chicken breast, creamy mac & cheese, bacon, sriracha aioli and a toasted bun. In addition, diners will be treated to a special affair – all champagne orders come with a sparkler! Guests can also sip on signature drinks designed to share and served in carafes. Individual beverages are served in mason jars.
BRUNCH OPTIONS

Red Velvet Waffle
I am going to highly recommend this waffle! Of all of the waffle variations here, this waffle was A-one! Now this is a chicken & waffle place, but I cant have chicken as a pescatarian. The waffle for me was great by itself!
JOHNNY’S (soon to be) FAMOUS CHICKEN & WAFFLES
This is what you came here for with the Johnny’s (soon to be) Famous Chicken & Waffle combo meal!
Pick your Protein + Pick your Waffle + Sauce it Up + Add sides (All served with Maple Syrup & Whipped Butter). You can come up with your own chicken and waffle meal, you can add more chicken or whatever you like!

Royal Treatment Mac & Cheese
Royal Treatment Mac & Cheese – This is a must have side! I see why its called Royal Treatment Mac & Cheese! It is served on a sizzling skillet pipping hot sprinkled with parsley. It was so good and a perfect brunch side!

Chef Crystal’s Asian Inspired Lamb Chops
Chef Crystal’s Asian Inspired Lamb Chops – Fork Tender Asian Glazed Lamb Chops, Herb Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Braised Kale Greens.
This entree is Served Daily from 4-11pm

Cola Sweets Shrimp & Grits
Cola Sweets Shrimp & Grits – Six Sauteed Jumbo Shrimp Served Over Creamy Grits With a Cajun Cream Sauce. Now this is a stunning entrée! I know people come here for the chicken and waffles, but as a pescatarian I go for the shrimp & grits! This Cola Sweet Shrimp & Grits were top notch! So creamy and delicious! Large shrimp I was amazed with and happy with the portions! I know this is bunch style, but it was served like an upscale dinner.
Other items that we added to our brunch experience here:
Party Starters: BBQ Buffalo Wings
Sides: Crispy Waffle Fries, Kale Greens, Broccolini, Scrabbled Eggs
Cocktails: Neyo’s Strawberry Lemonade
I was very happy with the brunch spread here at Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles. This spot is in Atlanta, created by celebrities, so you never know if a few of them will be dining at this spot! Take your chances, it is Atlanta after all. I came for the food, stayed for the food and returning for the food. I want to have brunch everyday, not just Sundays, just like their neon signs declares, “Everyday I’m Waffle’n”. Dont hold out for the weekend, have your mimosas any day and any time here!

Oh wow. I would love to hit Neyos for brunch when I finally get the chance to travel to Atlanta. It’s been on my list of international travel spots for a while now, and Neyos just bumped it to the top of the list.
Chicken and Waffles, does that not count as a weird combo? 😀 Sure seems that way to me, but maybe it does?
Too bad this place wasn’t open when I lived in Atlanta! This sounds amazing — must check it out when we go back to visit! Thanks for sharing!
I would love to be able to come and visit this delicious brunch spot! Hopefully in the next couple of years, post-pandemic. 🙂
OH EM GEE! That red velvet waffle and that mac & cheese is calling my name! This makes me so ready for some amazing breakfast.
I think I would need to fast the day before going here to be able to eat all the food I want to try! A big hangover brunch on a Sunday looks like a good idea with this food.
My wife and I love all-day brunch! This restaurant looks so nice, the interiors are cozy and laid-back. The lamb chops looks delicious!
You had me at all day brunch! Can we talk about how good that mac and cheese looks, because damn! Royal treatment is right 😀
That red velvet waffle looks so good, I guess I can consume that in one sitting, plus coffee! Thanks for sharing this restaurant review 🙂
These choices are so plentiful. I think that it would be hard to choose. Having said that those grits do look especially good.
I would love to travel to America and taste proper chicken and waffles, this looks so delicious!
I am a sucker for all-day brunch and this Atlanta spot sounds like my kind of place. The food looks absolutely delicious.
