Raising Cane’s is threw a huge birthday celebration for its 28th anniversary on August 28th (8-28) by opening its 828th restaurant in Boston—and it’s going all out in gold! Yes, you heard that right! Right in the heart of downtown, Boston now boasts a stunning golden Raising Cane’s, and when we say everything is gold, we mean it!
To kick off the festivities, Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves was joined by Boston legends like David Ortiz, Jrue Holiday, and singer JVKE for an unforgettable event where they surprised 28 lucky guests with a year’s worth of free Cane’s—now that’s a golden opportunity!
The grand opening began at 10 AM with a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 100 diners who purchased a combo meal were treated to a free combo card for their next visit.
Located at 101 Arch Street, this eye-catching new spot features a dazzling gold facade and interior that perfectly embody this special occasion.The restaurant itself is a marvel, featuring over 10,000 square feet of gold chrome automotive vinyl that brings this golden vision to life. From the golden walls and disco balls to the seating, counters, floors, and even a gold cabinet filled with exclusive merchandise, it’s clear that all that glitters truly is gold here in Boston.
The celebration was hosted by Todd alongside three-time World Series champion and Red Sox legend “Big Papi” David Ortiz, Olympic gold medalist and two-time NBA Boston Celtics champion Jrue Holiday, and the talented JVKE, known for his hit song “Golden Hour.” Together, they made this milestone restaurant opening one for the books.
Inside, guests were wowed by a stunning golden birthday cake replica of Cane III, crafted by the one and only Cake Boss Buddy Valastro. Standing two feet tall and over three feet wide, it was truly a showstopper!
