{Recap} The Have and The Have Nots & Love Thy Neighbor ATL Press Reception Tuesday 13 January, 2015
OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) has two amazing scripted television shows on their channel that is created by non other than the notable Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry has created two hit shows on the network with The Have and the Have Nots and Love Thy Neighbor. The Have and the Have Not’s has been OWN TV’s one of the highest ratings show on the newtork to date, with season 3 premiere reeling in 3.22 million viewers with the comeback episode. The Have and the Have Nots and Love Thy Neighbor are polar opposite shows. One is filled with super drama, suspense with a soap-opera like feel and the other is a comedy with a little bit of drama in its own right.
I attended OWN‘s private press reception in Atlanta to have an intimate conversation with a few of the cast members from both shows to talk about their new season and what’s to expect in upcoming episodes. Fun fact: I was actually an extra for The Have and The Have Not’s for season two (I was a protester) and I had two opportunities to be on Love Thy Neighbor (but Tyler cancelled both episodes that day). So thats a perk of living in Atlanta where these shows are filmed – I got to be apart of production!

Tyler Lepley (The Haves and the Have Nots) and Patrice Lovely, Palmer Williams Jr and Kendra C. Johnson (Love Thy Neighbor) answered questions about the new seasons airing now on OWN.

I haven’t heard of either show. But I am a huge fan of Oprah and Tyler Perry so I am sure anything they come up with would be great.
