Ride or Fly with Netflix’s MY LITTLE PONY: A NEW GENERATION Thursday 23 September, 2021
Hello! Proud Millennial here and I am happy to say I grew up on the My Little Pony brand as a child. They are back and Netflix’s MY LITTLE PONY: A NEW GENERATION will debut on the streaming service on September 24th. To help celebrate, I got a chance to pre-screen the animation and got an amazing box from Netflix to celebrate the film.
MY LITTLE PONY: A NEW GENERATION joins together Vanessa Hudgens, Kimiki Glenn, Sofia Carson and Liza Kosha as their characters go on an adventure to bring magic back to the world of My Little Pony.
Synopsis:
The unimaginable has happened…Equestria has lost its magic! Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi are no longer friends and now live separated by species. But idealistic Earth Pony Sunny (Vanessa Hudgens) is determined to find a way to bring enchantment and unity back to their world. Teaming up with open-hearted Unicorn Izzy (Kimiko Glenn), the pair travel to faraway lands where they encounter the likes of charismatic and brave Pegasi Pipp (Sofia Carson)and Zipp (Liza Koshy) and the ever-responsible fellow Earth Pony Hitch (James Marsden). Their mission is full of misadventures, but these new best friends each possess their own unique and special gifts that may be just what this ponyverse needs to restore magic and prove that even little ponies can make a big difference.

I was gifted by Netflix this amazing My Little Pony box in celebration of their newest film! I felt like a little girl again getting excited over My Little Pony toys!
It’s was more than just toys, it had a range of popcorn & branded popcorn boxes, Unicorn Snot Beauty Products, Branded Karoke Mic & Tumbler, Girl Scout Cookies and an Adult Sized My Little Pony Onsie that I put on right away!
The movie was super cute and I love how they have evolved from my generation. I can see how this is the “New Generation” of My Little Pony as their message has grown and it’s universal for everyone. You can be young or older, male or female (or non-binary) and all you have to do is have the mythical magic spirit to believe and enjoy this cute sparkly movie which is also a musical. I loved it.

I did not actually watch My Little Pony much as a kid. But a couple of years ago my younger son found it streaming and he was obsessed! I’ll have to tell him there’s a new movie, he will be so excited.
