Straight to Curly Hair with Dove Quench Absolute Collection Monday 18 April, 2016
As you all have noticed on social media lately I recently straightened and cut my hair. If you haven’t check out the YouTube video below. I got so many mixed reviews, some people loved it and some people were in shocked because they know me as Kiwi The Curly (I guess). My hair is my staple, my signature with the curls, but sometimes change is good. Season changed from winter to spring – so why can’t I change my hair from curly to straight? I did cute it into a bob and I decided I wanted to see how my hair looked straight.
It’s been 2 1/2 years. I liked it. As much as I liked it…the curls was calling my name…so I did a Straight to Curly Transformation using the Dove hair care line for the first time.

The Results!
As you can see my hair curled up really nicely! I didn’t have an issue with my curl pattern seeing that I didn’t use heat prior to straighten my hair in 2 1/2 years. Less heat on hair prevents future hair damage so it will be easier to convert hair back and forth from straight to curly. The Dove Products I was happily surprised that it defined my curls and kept it soft and bouncy. Using these products returned my curls to its natural state and it felt nice and rejuvenated and moisturized!

I was pleasantly surprised with the Dove hair care collection! Beyond just bath and body, I loved it expands to hair care – especially to curly course hair like mine. It definitely works well and it smells shower fresh too so this is still a staple bathroom product brand.

I’m team natural too. I usually don’t use heat to straighten it now that it’s shorter and I don’t have the curling irons to handle it.

your hair is GAWG-eous!! Total #haircrush I havent tried dove products but i normally find that i need to switch it up when the seasons change my hair has a new attitude every time the weather changes, so I may have to give Dove a whirl!
I’ve been hearing a lot about Dove’s new line but haven’t tried it yet. I went to a “professional” (and she was natural) hairdresser a couple of years ago because I wanted to see what my hair looked like straight…ended up with severe heat damage. So now that it’s grown back out, I don’t trust anyone else to straighten my hair and I don’t have the patience to do it myself lol

I love the Dove hair products! I use Dove on my hair and I really like it.
Dove hair products are awesome! I have very course curly hair and I use Dove shampoo and conditioner and they really hydrate my curls!
The last time I had curly hair was in 1987, and it was NOT natural. Your hair looks great!

I used to straighten my wavy hair a lot but I was pretty damaging. I embrace it now and I my hair is a lot healthier for it.

I loved the Dove Quench products. I only had sample sizes, but they worked well for me when I went on vacation. I love your curly hair.
