THE VOID VR | THE MOST IMMERSION VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE IN ATLANTA Thursday 03 October, 2019

The VOID, a high-end virtual reality (VR) arcade company and it has a new how located at The Battery Atlanta. Can you all believe this was my first true VR experience? What an experience it was and I went grand opening night and it was amazing! A Step Beyond Reality is their slogan and I soon found out why!
Currently, The VOID has 11 locations globally located in: Cinemark West Plano, Plano, Tx.; Downtown Disney, Anaheim, Calif.; Disney Springs, Orlando, Fla.; Glendale Galleria, Glendale, Calif.; Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian and The Palazzo Hotel, Las Vegas, Nev.; Hub Zero, City Walk, Dubai, U.A.E; The Rec Room at Square One, Mississauga, Ont.; The Rec Room Toronto Roundhouse, Toronto, Ont.; The Rec Room West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton, Alta.; Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, Calif.; and Resorts World Genting, Pahang Darul Markmur, Malaysia.
WHAT IS THE VOID VR LIKE?
Its called virtual reality, but this is actually hyper reality! You are the game and you will use 4 out of 5 of your human sense to experience this immersive simulation. It feels like you are in the super future of video games. You are not just looking through VR glasses and using a VR tool to play in the game, you are the game! Everything about you virtually changes once you put The Void’s VR gear on; Your outfit virtually changes, your body moves with your new avatar to play the game, and you are actually moving from room to room. You arent stationary and its a 360 view of a new dimension once you close your Void visors.
Its best played with groups of 4, if you have more you will be broken up into groups of 4 or 3. If you have 2 or less people you will be paired with another group!
One of the craziest experiences I ever had in my life. It is extremely immersive and fun! Also this is a great group experience! You really feel like you are apart of whichever mission you are apart of and you are doing it as a unit!
I would do this again and again, and the best part there are always new games playing. Currently I have experienced Star Wars: State of The Empire and the brand new Marvel’s Avengers: Damage Control.
Using state-of-the-art VR technology, The VOID layers a virtual world over a physical space combined with 4D multi-sensory effects where guests can walk freely untethered, see, touch and interact with the environment.
AVENGERS: DAMAGE CONTROL VR VIDEO
Avengers: Damage Control will take fans inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the first time, where they’ll be enlisted by Shuri (Letitia Wright).
Guests will find themselves at Wakandan Outreach Centers, where they’ll test Shuri’s latest prototype design, Emergency Response Suits, created with both Wakandan and Stark Industries technology.
Avengers: Damage Control lets you feel what it’s like to shoot repulsor blasts with your own two hands, suited up in Shuri’s latest technology.
STAR WARS: SECRETS OF THE EMPIRE VR VIDEO
VR experiences at the location will include “Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire,” “Ghostbusters: Dimension,” “Ralph Breaks VR” and “Nicodemus: Demon of Evanishment.”
This is one of the best interactive experiences in Atlanta I can highly recommend. This is fun for kids 8+ (or meets the height requirements) and big kids alike. Always check to see what are the new themed games available!
