Things I Learned About the Film Black Panther After Seeing It Multiple Times! *Spoilers* #BlackPanther #BlackPantherEvent Friday 16 February, 2018

Happy Black Panther Day! This literally is the most I ever posted about anything in my entire blogging career. I never promoted something so much in my life. Yes I was blogging on the behalf of Disney in many of my post, but a lot of stuff I am doing on my own as well. For example, I saw Black Panther 3 times already before it was released in theaters! Thats right, I went to 3 different media screenings: 1. Los Angeles Global Screening (2) Atlanta Marvel Twitter Q&A and Screening (3) Atlanta Media Screening (Allied).

Can you believe me? Not only that I will be going a 4th time this weekend, and I am going to dress up again! I have to do it #ForTheCulture. This movie is a big deal. Its a celebration of the 1st black superhero movie so of course everyone is excited!

Check out some things I learned after watching for the 2nd and 3rd time.

Warning: Major spoilers…if you dont want to ruin it please skip this part.

Things I Learned Watching Black Panther Multiple Times

Everyone is Wakanda is rich! Everyone! I didn’t really understand that before, but there is no such thing as poverty in Wakanda. Isn’t that amazing. The portal they fly into from the poverty stricken front, show that the futuristic world they live in, everyone is living in abundance. And happy. So why can’t we all live like Wakandians?

Each Wakanda tribe has their own weapons, loaded with vibranium. During the battle, you can see each tribe and their different tools that made them unique to fight with. I didnt pick up on this until the second time I saw this.

The women of Wakanda really are some hardcore chicks. I did notice this the first time watching the movie, but watching it multiple times you can see their power. They are really tough, and they fight alongside with the men strong and powerful. I don’t think I ever seen that in a movie before. Women are equal warrior…a great visual to see especially for young women. Shows we are not all damsel in distress!

I dont get sick of seeing Eric Killmonger. Like how is it possible he gets finer and finer?! How? I can watch this move over and over just to look at him. I know shallow, but sheesh that is a beautiful man. The best villian ever.

I love M’Baku character more and more! So strong, so primative! Also I didnt read the comic, but M’Baku and his tribe banished themselves away in the cold mountains from the city of Wakanda because they didnt want to depend on vibranium. They just want to use their own strength and inner power, which to me is major! This dude didnt even need vibranium! A true mans man! So you see the irony that even with all of that, they are vegetarians!

Zuri character dies and now I believe it was karma. I felt so bad the first time I saw it, but the second time I could see why. I am not saying it is right, but they should of came back for the little boy.

I didnt understad why T’Challa wanted his mom to stay in M’Baku mountains the first time I saw this. Now I understand it is because his mother wasnt going to participate in the war, and also so Eric Killmonger wouldn’t target her!

Eric Killmonger is as hardcore as he is because of all of his military training. He probably signed up to be in the military so that he can be strong when he needed to go to Wakanda, but it ultimately helped harden him as well. With all of the kills and everything he possibly saw fighting in the Middle Eastern War, I am sure Eric suffered a lot of PTSD. I noticed his PTSD symptoms kick in when he woke up from the ancestor world.

COOL CLIPS FROM THE FILM

I was Wakanda Ready for the first time watching Black Panther

Do not be afraid to dress up in your Ankara (African Print) or any other type of African (America) celebration attire. People are already going all out just for the movies. Cosplay, authentic African attire, Ankara print, and more. Its so beautiful. When I go this weekend, yes I will be wearing this dress Atlanta. Atlanta has to get its turn with the dress!

I even got featured in a Hello Beautiful article 43 Wakanda Inspired Hairstyles To Help You Slay The Movie Theater This Weekend  (yay)

I’m glad I got to see the movie last night and it was amazing! I’m not sure it was PTSD that caused Killmonger’s reaction when he came back from the other realm because T’Challa had the same reaction before he calmed down and said he spoke with his father. I think it’s more of a reaction to the process. All in all, I loved the movie as you did and would have seen it a few times this weekend if I had the time!
