WHERE TO STAY IN CANCUN: NOW SAPPHIRE RIVIERA CANCUN ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT Friday 19 June, 2015
Cancun is one of the hottest places to visit in Mexico but where do you stay? There are so many hotels and resorts to choose from but would like to share some insight on the Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun resort I just returned from. If you are interested in a beautiful all-inclusive resort review in Cancun, read more below on my enjoyable stay here!
My first time to Cancun, Mexico and it was a great experience. It was my first time out the country so yay for a stamp on my passport! I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to a beautiful Mexican all-inclusive resort of Now Sapphire. I stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights! I had the best time and I cant wait to show you the photos from the trip. It was lots of food, drinks, and just beautiful scenery. Check out some of the photos below.
This is one of the reviews of the main pool. This resort actually had 3 seperate pools outside the beach for this location. The main pool, the kiddie pool area and the private VIP pool.
This is the view of the 2 bedroom room I stayed inside. A gorgeous Jr.Suite hotel. My roomate OhNikka! + I share this room for the weekend and we loved it. The room was prepped with 24 hour room service too (I didn’t even know that was possible).
Another angle of the room. You can’t see but it had a flat screen TV that came with some standard cable channels in English and Spanish.
The stiched robes we were welcomed to in our rooms on each bed! I loved them so comfy!
Everyday our bathroom was stocked with Now Sapphire branded tolietires. Love how everthing is branded at this resort.
In front of our room was the resport personal spa. I did have a chance to experience this…I will share more on that later.
This is the lobby of the resort. The main area of the resort that connects to all the restaurants, bars, nightclub, VIP, conceiere service and more. This is always busy but fun with great customer service and someone always offering you a drink! seriously you could blink and someoen would walk up to you and ask you if you need a drink.
As you can see there are lots of sitting areas (with plugs nearby too for charging) as well as a coffeebar and the main drinking bar. Great place to meet people and congregate with your crew or just mingle. They play live music each night here too.
More views of the main pool area. So much pretty pool…I couldnt get enough of the scenery. The pool water was so clear and pretty. I had to take lots of pictures.
Now this is the private pool area. Its for VIP Premiere Lounge people who signed up for the exlusivity perks on the resort. The server Ceasar did an amazing job servicing drinks with a smile on his face. Again there are lots of bars all over the place, no shortage of drinks on this resort but it was nice to have private service by the exclusive pool area.

Also at the private pool, there is VIP Premiere Lounge area where you can get your own private cabana. By the main pool you can get a cabana too…but it’s more difficult because everyone on the resort wants one and have to get up really early to reserve it. Those main pool cabanas get booked up quick…so this private one is much easier to obtain if you are a VIP Premeiere Lounge member.
I felt super special and official seeing my last name reserved on the cabana. I got the cabana for the whole day too!
The private pool is also pretty cool. As you saw the beautiful pictures by the main pool was subperb, but this is a little more secuded and serene. Less people more peace. See those things the ladies are floating on. They are all in the private pool area for the member to use to float, tan on and even take a mid-pool nap in the water. Very relaxing!
As I told you all before, this is an all-inclusive resort. Meaning ALL you can eat and drink every day of your stay, There were several different restaurant choices, and at each one was a full stocked menu to order whatever you want as much as you want. I wont lie…I abused this option…because in America the only time you can all-you-can-eat is at buffets…which sometimes aren’t the best options of food. So at Now Sapphire, the restaurants ranges from all selections from Asian, French, American Grille, American Buffet Style, and yes of Course Mexican cuisines. So many options so you don’t get bored while on the resort for food option. I tried them all except the Mediterranian one…didnt get a chance to! My favorite was from Lemongrass, an Asain cusine where literally I order all the shrimp I wanted. So much food I really felt like I was overindulging but…YOLO or YOEO (you only eat once…when you go back to America).
BEST PERK
The service! OMG I have never been treated so wonderfully in my life. The entire staff was a joy to be around, always smiling and ready to be accomodating. If you were in the lobby, someone was always trying to refill your drink or offer you something, anything you like. There were times where they just wanted to talk and get to know me and my friend. We would chat about each other’s cultures and how we are enjoying our stay. Also there was two days on my trip where it rained, and here is the kicker…while we were eating and the lights temporarily went out the servers kept serving! Rain on this resort didn’t stop anything because they kept up the entetainment with a smile on their faces! Just the staffs genunine energy and happiness will make me come back. I love great customer service so I am returning back to this resort on this alone!

Now Sapphire looks absolutely beautiful. Your photos are amazing. Would I visit this resort? Oh yes! I’m really impressed by the unlimited food choices. A lot of supposedly all inclusive packages place limits.

Wow! Yes, I absolutely would visit Now Sapphire Cancun Mexican Resort! Not only have I never visited Mexico, I have never stayed in such a fastastic-looking resort. The photographs of the food is what lured me in…lol

When I lived in the US, I didn’t appreciate the easy access to Mexico and the Caribbean, and now that I live in Europe, I can’t justify the hassle and expense of traveling to places that used to be in my backyard.
Of course I have Europe at my doorstep and Southeast Asia a reasonable distance away, but can you believe I’m getting tired of Italy?
I love visiting Cancun, I try to stay somewhere different each time, I would definitely consider Sapphire Resorts! One of my favorite resorts out there is actually the JW Marriot Cancun! 🙂
We’ve visited Mexico many times and we’ve always had the best time. The Sapphire Resort looks amazing, as does the food. You’ve made me really hungry and ready for the beach!

So many family friends and relatives have travelled down to Mexico. Can you believe I’ve never been? I should really book an all inclusive vacay down there.
I really want to go to Mexico again. I’m thinking of planning a surprise 10 year anniversary trip for my husband. That gives ne three years to save up. Hehe

Cancun is definitely one of the places that I have on my Bucket List. I hope to be able to go there once the kids are a little older. From the looks of your photos it is a very beautiful place to visit.

When I lived in OK, Cancun was the place to go. It was a super short trip and really inexpensive.
