Verdure Kitchen and Cocktails has recently opened its doors in Atlanta, offering a menu inspired by the diverse cuisines of various African countries, such as Nigeria, Ethiopia, Senegal, and Ghana. The upscale restaurant aims to combine traditional African dishes and flavors with familiar ingredients from the southern United States.
Upon stepping inside, you’ll immediately be captivated by the restaurant’s stunning aesthetic, exuding natural bohemian vibes that transport you to a botanical oasis.
THE GARDEN ROOM
One of the highlights of the restaurant is the enchanting Garden Room, a space that exudes dreamy romanticism and is adorned with lush greenery, truly capturing the essence of Verdure. Even the ceiling boasts live hanging plants, adding a delightful touch of lushness to the ambiance.
AFRO-FUSION MENU ITEMS

Strawberry Spinach Salad a fresh combination of spinach, juicy heirloom tomatoes, tangy feta cheese, candy pecan, dried cranberry, and fresh and pickled strawberries, all drizzled with a zesty orange citrus dressing.

Roasted Egusi Hummus unique and delicious twist on traditional hummus crafted with a blend of egusi, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, tahini, flavorful herbs, and served with a side of fresh vegetables and toasted pita bread.

Zesty Pineapple-glazed Gambas succulent fried shrimps paired with avocado, cilantro, and tomatoes, all elevated by a flavorful and sweet pineapple glaze.

Mediterranean Pan-seared Branzino flavorful pan-seared Branzino Butterfly, a tender and flaky fish stuffed with heirloom tomato, onions,kalamata. thyme, and pepper, all enhanced by a a tomato concasse sauce. Afriki Grilled Red Snapper perfectly grilled whole red snapper accompanied by a medley of vibrant ingredients including spicy tomato concasse combined with a side of mixed onions, tomatoes, and scallion infused with mayonnaise vinaigrette.

Le Grand Baobab et Walnut Cheesecake a velvety and rich cheesecake that combines the nuttiness of walnuts with the unique taste of baobab for a truly delightful treat.
While currently serving dinner daily starting at 5 p.m., Verdure Kitchen has plans to expand its offerings to include lunch and weekend brunch in the future.
