Walt Disney Animation Studios Presents “Wish” at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre—A Stunning Nightly Sky Illuminated by Enchanting Drone Show.

In anticipation of the highly-anticipated big-screen debut on Nov. 22, Walt Disney Animation Studios enthusiastically commemorated the extraordinary musical comedy “Wish” at the iconic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Dazzling the onlookers as they walked the enchanting blue carpet were renowned figures such as Jennifer Lee (screenplay by, EP, CCO of Disney Animation), Chris Buck & Fawn Veerasunthorn (directed by), Peter Del Vecho & Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones (produced by), Julia Michaels & Benjamin Rice (original songs by), and Dave Metzger (original score composed by).

Adding to the magical ambiance, a breathtaking drone show, inspired by the world of “Wish,” illuminated the Hollywood night sky, bringing an extra touch of wonder to this momentous celebration.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.
