Occidental at Xcaret Destination is in a stunning private cove right next to Xcaret Eco Park. It overlooks a pristine white-sand cove on Mexico’s legendary Riviera Maya and its the resort is the perfect place to unwind. Occidental at Xcaret Destination***** hotel (a member of the Barceló Hotel Group and formerly the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort) is a24-hour all-inclusive resort located in the heart of Riviera Maya. This impressive complex has 765 recently refurbished rooms and suites with a terrace or balcony, remarkable for the magnificent gardens that surround them. It also features natural river formations, 7 swimming pools, a dolphinarium open for daily visits, and a private bay with soft white sand.

RESORT AMBIANCE
Located close to the Xcaret eco-archaeological park, which offers a great day out for the family, with over 40 cultural attractions and exhibitions on Mexico’s art and tradition.
POOLS
The resort houses five pools, including an adult-only saltwater pool which offers views of the Caribbean. My favorite area was a swim-up bar pool lagoon, where it played modern techno-pop music all day!
ENTERTAINMENT
They have a special night where it is Michael Jackson night! I was so excited and the performances were amazing. It’s a whole theatric performance with a MJ impersonated with amazing backup dancers to create many of his iconic music videos! This night is a must-see you will feel the Michael Jackson experience completely!
They also have cute Disney night, fun for families! They have different personifications of your favorite Disney movies brought to life in a theatrical and musical form. Most of all, they perform you favorite Disney movies in Spanish! We are in Mexico after all, so a Spanish twist to you favorite cartoons makes it even more entertaining!
SCENIC
Guests also have access to natural surroundings including a natural river formation and private bay on a soft white sand beach.
The resort is planted right near two Mayan ruins. So you don’t even have to leave the resort for a piece of Mayan history.
FOOD
