Day 6: Jewelry
Today’s feature 31 stories is on jewelry. I am an accessory queen, and I could of easily taken a picture of the plethora of accessory items that I owed but I didn’t. I decided to show a picture of a engagement/wedding ring instead.
I don’t have a real story on that because, well I am not married or engaged yet. I chose to feature it because it is something I aspire to have one day in the near future (come on future…). Yes I am one of those women who fantasizes about my wedding day and the beautiful day that my soulmate will propose to me and ask me to be his wife.
I am tired of being just a girlfriend. That’s nice and everything, but honestly a wife has such a status to it, and I am ready to reach that accomplishment. A ring for some women is just a sparkly piece to brag and rave on how much their sweetie took the plunge to commitment and this is the present for it. That’s nice and all…but that ring symbolizes FOREVER.
It symbolizes that a man has gotten rid of his boyish ways, thoughts, habits and sees a woman he is in love with as a prize that he want the world to know she is OFF THE MARKET. A beautiful symbolism of unity, commitment and a union of two people who will be building on a future and a family together.
I can’t wait until that day for me comes, and then I will be able to share my love story on how I go the ring. Sigh…One Day…I will blog about it I promise.
