Day 30: Collection
Hello My name is Kiwi and I am a Hello Kitty-a-holic.
The picture you see about isnt even a quarter of all the Hello Kitty Items I own and collect. If I actually displayed what I truly own, I would put 8 year old girls everywhere to shame and maybe land myself on a special episode of Hoarders.
Hello Kitty is my life. That is it. It’s not a trend, its not a fad, maybe a tiny bit of an obsession but I love the brand.
It’s not something I will outgrow or should outgrow and read my post on why I will not. I even had a Hello Kitty Approved Birthday party.
Some people collect cards, coins, shoes and I collect Hello Kitty items. I don’t think there is one item hello kitty does not make. Look she even makes tissue…Yes Hello kitty TOILET TISSUE!
One day I am going to Japan and I am going to fly my happy self to Hello Kitty Heaven. Yes fly on the actual Hello Kitty private jet and be in Hello Kitty Bliss! But hey I have some competititon, Mariah Carey as of right now is the reign champ of the Hello Kitty collection hoarding. She is a millionare, its going to be hard to compete with her, but hey I have high hopes!
Speaking of high hopes, if I ever make it to Beverly Hills once day…I am staying at this Hello Kitty Suite and possible just live there.
Anywho, little girls everywhere be very jealous, and no there will be no passing down items. Every girl for themselves in Hello Kitty LaLa Land. Sorry!

Omg! I collect Barbies!! I want to stay in the Barbie Suite in Vegas too! I actually got to go to the Mattel headquarters and meet some of the designers when I was selected for the Barbie Collector Advisory Panel–it was such an awesome experience. Yes, collecting is not like playing with these items…it’s an investment that you don’t grow out of!
Barbies! Thats a good collection to have, especially in the future when they are vintage and become more valuable! You actually went to the Mattel headquarters, I am sure that is every little girl’s fantasy come true!
