Car Review | Definitely Seeing Red in the Mazda CX-9 SUV Wednesday 26 October, 2016

Its car review time again and I know for sure I am seeing red! I got a wonderful opportunity to test drive the new 2016 Mazda CX-9 to cruise around Atlanta for a week. What a week it was. Last year almost to the date I drove it’s little sister the Madza 6, and it has mostly the same features, except a little more and definitely more space (as an SUV would over a sedan).

I don’t know what it is about me and red cars lately, but its hot and eye catching and definitely an attention grabber. I went to several events and I always got compliments on the stunning candy apple red colored SUV. This red is called Soul Red Metallic ,which it actually reminds me of a candy apple color just in time for the Fall…I should of went apple picking but I didnt. Maybe soon.

Definitely the era of the minivan is dying with new modern and trendy SUVs such as the Madza CX-9. Look at how shiny the paint is, almost giving it a luxury sporty car feel and appearance. Definitely was an upclass SUV…not your average soccer mom vehicle at all.

Mazda offers a full cache of driver-assistance systems, including blind-spot monitoring, radar-based cruise control, and lane-departure warning and correction. So it will always alert you of your blindspots and if you are drifting to far off into another lane. If you do drift a little bit, it will straighten up almost on its own, pretty cool feature.

Also another feature is the screen LED lighted digital printed speedometer that is literally on the front windshield on the driver side so you can see how fast you are going.

Interior includes rosewood trim pieces, aluminum accents, and soft brick-colored Nappa leather seats.

The cool thing about the Mazda CX-9 is that is a 3 row SUV that can fit up to 8 passengers at once with lots of space.

I know its just one of me so in reality I probably wouldn’t own this car as a single person (such as I am now). This is definitely a more elegant sporty SUV family car or a funky roadtrip car for a larger group. Well although I don’t have a family of my own yet or took a roadtrip this time in the Mazda CX9 (darn it) I still really love this ride. I will say this time and time again, I keep saying I am not an SUV girl – but Mazdas keep changing my mind on this. I felt just as sporty in the Mazda CX-9 as I did in their Mazda CX 6 last year.

WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN DRIVING A SPORTY SUV?
