ANNOUCEMENT: Im Going to Wakanda (Los Angeles) for the #BlackPantherEvent! | Disney Exclusive Press Event Tuesday 09 January, 2018
Remember when I said I wanted to go to Wakanda a few months ago in this post? I spoke it into existence as I am pleased to let everyone know that I have been hand-picked by Disney to do the red carpet coverage for Black Panther. That means I am going to Wakanda! Ok I am not actually going to Wakanda, because its a fictional African Nation in the film, but I will be going to the Disney exclusive 3-day media event at the end of this month to highlight Marvel’s Black Panther movie. Close enough! I am too excited! What an honor to be chosen by Disney to cover this amazing and monumental movie for this year. Great way to kick off 2018 so far!
This film is a big deal, as Black Panther is going to be the first African American superhero comic book made movie and great representation for culture in the black community. I can’t wait to adorn myself in African garb and fashion. I am even getting a custom African inspired outfit made for the red carpet. I can’t wait so definitely stay tuned for that!

I was chosen, along with 25 bloggers from across the nation to Los Angeles from Sunday, January 28th – Wednesday, January 31st to walk the red carpet at the BLACK PANTHER (opening in theatres on 2/16) premiere and attend the press junket where I will be able to interview talent from the film! Pinch me please!

Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Just added to our fun-filled itinerary is a sneak preview at #TheBachelorWinterGames, along with a Q&A with host Chris Harrison.For the First Time Ever, Bachelors and Bachelorettes From Around the World Mix Love, Humor and Friendly Competition on ‘The Bachelor Winter Games,’ the Newest Addition to ABC’s Hit Romance Reality Franchise, Premiering Tuesday, February 13
Highlights Include Appearances by Bachelor Nation Alumni Ryan and Trista Sutter,
Arie Luyendyk Jr., Rachel Lindsay and JoJo Fletcher;
Figure Skating Champions Nancy Kerrigan, Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner;

Throughout the run of “The Bachelor Winter Games,” fans can expect twists and turns on and off the ski mountain, as well as romance, heartbreak, love and, of course, roses. The bachelors and bachelorettes will participate in challenges from winter biathlon to ice dancing, with date cards being given to the winners of each challenge.
The series will continue on Thursday, February 15; Tuesday, February 20, and will have its finale on Thursday, February 22. All episodes will air 8:00-10:00 p.m. EST.
