Disney Dreamers Academy is more than just a program; it’s a life-changing experience held at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. This incredible opportunity is designed specifically for teens from Black and underrepresented communities, aiming to enhance their career and personal development. Selected participants will enjoy an all-expense-paid trip to the happiest place on Earth, alongside a parent or guardian, where they’ll dive into a mix of inspiration, education, and, of course, a whole lot of fun!
Since its launch, Disney Dreamers Academy has inspired over 1,700 students, helping them turn their dreams into reality. Graduates have gone on to pursue diverse paths, becoming doctors, engineers, performing artists, entrepreneurs, and even Disney Cast Members! Many of these inspiring individuals have returned as mentors for new Dreamers, creating a positive cycle of support and encouragement.
This program reflects Disney’s commitment to uplifting diverse communities and motivating the next generation to think big. It’s all about empowering young minds to chase their dreams and make a difference in the world.

Established by Walt Disney World in 2008, Disney Dreamers Academy’s mission is to inspire teens from Black and underrepresented communities to dream beyond imagination by providing life-long access to personalized support for the Disney Dreamer, their caregivers and community through insightful content and uplifting experts, mentors and sponsors.
