My review: I loved this movie! I loved Suicide Squad when it came out four years ago, so to see Harley Quinn’s breakout role was pretty exciting. I will first say I loved ALL of the fashion in this film. Very fun and quirky just like me. The colors in the movie were very vibrant even though parts of this movie were dark and had dark elements. I loved the Girl Gang Squad. It was fun to see such a diverse and inclusive group of women and they were all powerful in their own way.

If you remember Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn was Joker’s other half and honestly batsh*t crazy! She is still coocoo for cocoa puff, but you see her human side more. Harley Quinn is definitely an overgrown kid/teen with a lot of trauma. I think she relates more to the little kid in the film than the adults, rightfully so. It was just a fun movie to watch, almost like one big playhouse! Most importantly. this was the emancipation of Harley Quinn, so this was the celebration of her freedom. Remember a Harlequin is a servant, she now serves herself and even others for the better good (depend on how you look at it). Definitely go watch this film, its not a chick flick!

#BirdsOfPrey In theaters Feb.7th

Will you see the Girl Gang flick of the year Birds of Prey?
