Crown Royal Apple Celebrates Green at the ATL Hawks Game | #CrownApple Friday 25 March, 2016
Hey everyone! What did you all do for St.Patricks Day. I actually spent it by going to a basketball game and I was invited by Crown Royal to enjoy a VIP Green experience to see the Hawks vs Nuggets. That’s cool but what does that have to do with St.Patricks Day? Crown Royal has Crown Royal Apple, which is their newest whisky flavor – so what better way to celebrate the holiday with some spirits with a green theme – Apples! Great idea and I was excited to be spending my night with drinks and a game!
Crown Royal Regal Apple is a combination of the renowned taste of Crown Royal whisky infused with natural apple flavors.Perfect for toasting occasions, Crown Royal Regal Apple is best enjoyed as a chilled shot, on the rocks, or in a classic cocktail for a uniquely smooth experience. I’ve had it a few times in the past, but during the VIP suite they had signature Crown Apple cocktails for us to try. I loved the Cranberry Apple (Crown Royal Apple + Cranberry).

I was so excited to see the Hawks Game and I brought my college friend Marquisha to enjoy the suite with me. I haven’t been to one in forever, and it was a good night. They beat the Nuggets! Yay Go Hawks!!!
We had a personal tasting with Master of Whiskey Ryan Ross. During the tasting I was able to sample the Original Crown Royal Whiskey, Crown Royal Rye & the star of the event the Crown Royal Regal Apple. All of the tasting samples were smooth. I’ve told you all before I am not a brown liqour drinker – but now I feel converted to this. Definitely a huge fan of the Crown Royal Apple! It was my favorite.

About the Crown Royal Regal Apple:To maintain the essence of the Regal Gala apple, the apples start in a mixture of water and alcohol. The mixture is then distilled and specific selections are collected based on aroma. The aromatic fractions are blended to achieve the resulting apple flavor characteristics of the Regal Gala apple. The 70 proof (35% ABV) whisky opens with a slightly tart, crisp, apple flavor balanced with signature Crown Royal whisky with notes of caramel and light spice. Yum!
Of course we had some special VIP Hawks Fun in the Suite! We got a visit from a few of the Hawk Dancers! They were so cute and makes me feel like I wanna lose 15 pounds and join them. I am so serious! My body goals starts by looking at this chicks…I gotta get right like them! #Motivated

1.5oz Crown Royal Regal Apple
4oz Cranberry Juice
Garnish with apple wedge
Crown Royal Press
1.5 oz. Crown Royal Deluxe
3 dash (s) Bitters
Top with Lemon-Lime Soda
1 Lemon Wedge
Garnish with a lemon wedge
The Northern Buck
1.5 oz Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye
.5 oz Lime juice
Top with ginger beer
Garnish with a lemon wedge
This was such a great experience. Like I said I have sampled a little of Crown Royal Regal Apple in the past but now I think I will make it a drink I will order more often. I am even intrigued to make in into adult dishes. I will experiment they gave us all a parting gift of the whiskey (cheers).

I’ve never heard of Apple flavored whisky. My drinks as far as cocktails is pretty much limited to margaritas 🙂 , but l would try this over ice l think, and l would like it most likely.
Apple would be a really unique and tasty flavor for whisky. It sure looks fun watching the Atlanta game live and also interacting with their cheerleaders.
Now that sounds like a super fun experience. As a Chicagoan, I spend a ton of time cheering on my teams at the United Center and they have started creating elite bars like this in the arena. It’s awesome.

I’m not into whiskey, yet I felt compelled to purchase this back in the summer since the flavor sounded so delicious. I had to end up giving it to my oldest brother since he loves the Crown Royal brand. Maybe these drink recipes would change my mind, though! 🙂

Somebody bought Crown Royal Apple to my house for a Christmas gathering and yaaaaaas! I drink brown liquor straight and this was so smooth it really doesn’t need a chaser. Good stuff for real.

I just tried this for the first time last weekend in a shot. I have to admit, I LOVED it, even when I didn’t think I would.
