Crown Royal Salutes Our Troops with Crowning Courage Event with the Atlanta Hawks! #CrowningCourage Friday 23 March, 2018
I am a fan of Crown Royal and I am honored they invited me to their second annual Crowning Courage event. They host an amazing reception brunch where they invite military members and vets and honor them by giving them courtside seats to the Hawks game. I was invited to their reception and a Suite view of the Hawks vs Phoenix game at the Phillips Arena. I invited my good guy friend Carl to come! He is a Hawks fan so I knew he was the perfect person to come along.

“The Atlanta Hawks, the NBA and Crown Royal are forever grateful to our troops,” said Steve Koonin, Hawks CEO. “This event is just a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices they and their families have made.”
Hawks fans showed their appreciation for our troops by creating more than 400 custom care packages at the Crown Royal Bar. Many in attendance took time to fill Crown Royal bags with snacks and handwritten notes, which were then shipped to active duty troops.

During the reception and game, they had signature cocktail drinks curated around the basketball festivities such as Crown Royal Layout, Crown Royal Full Court Press, Crown Royal Apple Slam Dunk and Crown Royal Vanilla Guard.

As the reception ended, Veterans were escorted to the exclusive Courtside Club and Hawks Bar, the NBA’s first-and-only courtside bar, for a premium in-game experience. Hawks season ticket members generously donated courtside seats ensuring a premium experience for military members and their guests. Each military member will also received a customized Atlanta Hawks jersey displaying his or her name and military unit number at a private reception prior to the game.

During a break in the game’s action, they received a standing ovation from the crowd and throughout the contest, the Philips Arena center-hung scoreboard displayed the stories of select military personnel in video vignettes.
I had a great time per usual with Crown Royal Crowning Courage event. So good news is, during the game the Hawks won!!! Cheers to that! I have always been a fan of Crown Royal and I love how they honored the troops with courtside seats to the game. They deserve it! Salute to our Troops!

Crown Royal has been a popular alcoholic beverage around here forever. I love that they invite military members to the event and honor them by giving them courtside seats to the Hawks game.
Anything we can do to honor veterans that keep this country safe and free is great by me. This looks like a nice event and watching the game is always fun.
What a nice way to honor our service members and vets. My dad was Navy, and my daughter leaves for boot camp in less than two weeks for the Navy. I love companies that support our military!
