March is Women’s History Month. To celebrate BabbleBoxx sent a special box with lots of products to empower any woman in your life. To me, the best way to empower myself as a woman is to have some me time and I booked a staycation in my city and brought along some of these amazing products. Check them out below.

Targus

I am an avid traveling, in the city or out the city I must have a few travel essentials. It seems like a lot of women are doing lots of traveling so I would like to recommend the Targus Backback. It’s slim and petite to use as a laptop back or just an extra carry case for other necessities. I stored my extra toiletries in here for more space in my luggage.

Targus Newport Ultra Slim Backpack has been such a lifesaver! It has a sleek, lightweight design, and my laptop (or tablet) fits perfectly inside. Targus bag is water repellent and also so stylish yet professional.

MedPeel

Women who want to feel empowered also want to be empowered with great skin. It starts with great skincare products. MedPeel is a skincare brand that has been around for over 25 years! Their mission was to build a skincare brand where safety, quality, efficiency.

Advanced Repair Daily Moisturizer– Medpeel – This product helps treat dryness, inflammation, aging, and repairs skin barriers. You only need a small amount for your skin to glow effortlessly.

Kensington Books

An empowered woman is a well read woman. It’s time to start your Spring and Summer book list early. I recommend two book by Kensington Books; The Book Spy by Alan Hlad and The Nurse’s Secret by Amanda Skenandore.

WThese fictional books are inspired by the real lives of women who have incredible accomplishments.

The Book Spy by Alan Hlad is based on the real librarian spies of WWII. The main character in the book was based on Adele Kibre, an American librarian who was brave and had multiple achievements. She was a true hero that sadly most people do not know about! This novel builds awareness of her story and the other brave librarians who played an integral role during WWII.

The Nurse’s Secret by Amanda Skenandore is based on another story that few people know about. It takes place at America’s first professional nursing school, the Bellevue Hospital School of Nursing, which I actually lived just blocks away from when I lived in NYC! This book is written by a registered nurse herself and you can tell by how well this book is written that she has a medical background! There are so many amazing details about late-19th century medicine and just about modern nursing. The main character is a con artist who comes to this nursing school and gets followed by murderers. This book will keep you on the edge of your chair!
