{Food Recap} 2015 Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Tuesday 02 June, 2015
This past weekend was my first attendace of the 2015 Atlanta Food and Wine Festival in the city. What a festival it was! This is it’s 5th year anniversary celebrating the best Midtown Atlanta has to offer in food and of course wine selections. When I say this was a festival…this went above my expectations! It was a feast of a festival with LOTS of food and drinks galore. I cant wait to tell you more about this recap of the event. The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is the creation of the dynamic Atlanta entrepreneurial duo, Elizabeth Feichter (right) and Dominique Love (left). The pair first joined forces almost 10 years ago to run Corporate Community Outsourcing, a philanthropic consulting firm created by Love after leaving her post managing The Coca-Cola Company’s corporate giving. This event brought out people in the thousands to enjoy the festivities of Americans favorite pasttime of eating and drinking. Look eating + drinking are my favorite things to do so this was an epic event for me to be in attendance for.
My friend, Nikka Shae invited me to the event and we got to expiernce the VIP section from the AFWF sponsor by IHG Rewards Club. Drinking my first glass of red wine at the private affair.
IHG Rewards club made sure to have a fab activiation with Coca-Cola new campaign collaboration of #ShareForever program. This was brought on by brand’s new product Coca Cola Life, in which uses stevia and sugar as sweeteners for the drink to have less sugar and calories. Interesting!
At the Atlanta Food and Wine tents, Coke had their own tent party and I promise this DJ kept the party going (check out his photobomb)! They had the works at this tent, lots of Share a Coke bottles, photobooths and fun!
What’s a great event without a photobooth? Not a great event, but of course this place had a photobooth and I took full advantage per usual. Check out my usual routine of photobooth crash imagery below! Great times!
Gold Peak had a photobooth too! Super cute I love the sitting bench as a prop! I’m a branding nerd sorry, I think this was adorable!
DRINKS & FOOD PHOTOS
I hope you are happy with the photos I share with you all. Trust me there were way more…an abundance more of food and drinks and the only thing that was really stopping me from showing you all of the items was because it rained (boo). Hard to take picture while it rained, but it definitely didn’t stop the festival show. Once again I was thouroughly impressed with this festival. I never been to anything like it and I just felt like it was one all you can eat and drink party with literally no limits. No worries, I did pace myself…this was an event with a plethora of wine/beer/spirits so things could of gotten a little cray cray. Next year I think I will take Uber (wink wink). It was definitely worth the experience! Thanks again Nikka Shae for inviting me! I can’t believe this was my first time attending, but AFWF will see me again next year for sure!

I’m such a foodie at heart, and food & wine fests are truly where it’s at for me. If I could attend one once a month, I’d be a happy camper. Looks like the Atlanta one was tons of fun – I’m jealous!
