Hello and welcome to my blog.

Yes I am a blogger.
I have been blogger since 2006 and I am very excited on actually doing this as a full-time professional hobby! My name is Kiwi (aka Kiwi The Beauty) and I want to welcome you into my world via words & pictures of my journey, thoughts, imaginations, and life lessons.

This blog is something I been waiting an entire year to finally get up and running. What took me so long? The answer? Timing…

Yes I was waiting for the right time. So the time is right now.
The time was actually supposed to be last year, when Kiwi The Beauty (my blogger name) was officially re-branded. So what happened between last year and this year? **chuckles** A lot more than I can write in one blog posting!

A year ago I have a epiphany that I need to take my blogging life to the next level. Previously, I was blogging and a person just to rant, ramble and be random. No direction, no purpose, just to have an outlet to write about what is on my mind and have an open diary to the public to whoever cared to read. It was cool, I had readerships, people who commented, people who enjoyed my personality via my blog rants…but something was off to me. So I stopped.

Then the light bulb went off in my head and said what if I made my blog like a brand? What if I didnt just ramble about stuff and just took it to the next level? I was inspired bybloggers who went to events, had a consistent  theme of their blog, had strong readership, and it was done on a professional and personal level? I instantly thought, I need to do this! But how?

Well my first thought was I need to get it off a blogspot and convert it into a domain name…but what would it be? I had lots of names to choose from, but me being the public relations thinker I am thought I needed to be “brandable” (yup made that up). I am a brand junkie so I decided how can I make myself a blogger personality with a name that represented me? **Light Bulb Moment** and it hit me exactly what I wanted to do.

I have always been in love with photography. Whether it was me in front of a camera or behind it, my love for capturing the moment via photos have always been a passion of mine. I am NOT a professional photographer but I appreciate the beauty of photos and knew my new blogging life had to include my love for pictures. With pictures, especially of myself, people can take it and think automatic narcissism and that’s not me at all. I wanted my blog to be a clear reflection of me, the true me through pictures and the **ding ding ding** of my blogging brand was conceived.

Kiwi (myself) The Beauty was the name that popped into my head. It sounds very narcissistic but that is the point. Follow me here. As I stated I am not narcissistic at all, but there is a form of judgment I always felt people could misinterpret who I am. My blog life is a full understanding of who I am, but if you do not READ about me, then it’s easy to judge. People live their lives everyday judging what they do NOT know. The truth is Kiwi — The Beauty part has nothing to do with my looks and everything to do with how I see the world. Aha are you still following where I am going with this?

What is your definition of beauty? Is it just someone who is attractive or is it deeper than that? Can words be beautiful? Can actions be beautiful? Can a photo be beautiful? Can a thought be beautiful? Are you getting my drift? I hope so…because that is the true meaning of Kiwi The Beauty. Kiwi (myself) The Beauty (the beauty of life) and capturing it all via this little blog though my eyes (and my camera lens).

If you don’t know me yet or you think you know, you will truly know who I am. My pictures with give you an idea, followed by the words I paint to create the story of what happened or the ideas running through my mind. It’s a beautiful thing and I want to share my insight with the world.

So people ask what is you blog about? Is it about fashion? Is it about photography? Is it about social events? Is it about personal stuff? Is it about entertainment? Answer: All of the above and more! It’s a lifestyle blog and it’s going to be different that’s all I can say.

I have a lot to share with you. I just hope you can keep up and follow me along the way.
Pictures can be worth a 1000 words, well blogging to me will be consumed by a 1000 thoughts.
