Ro James & Jhene Aiko Gives Atlanta a Front Row Concert! #FordFrontRow Wednesday 27 September, 2017
Ford and Billboard are bringing us closer to the music with Ford Front Row, an exclusive concert series featuring Jhene Aiko and Ro James at The Buckhead Theatre. It was a free concert featuring both of these artist, and it was a packed house in Atlanta. These two neo-soul artist were a perfect combo to have as a front row concert and I was there up close and personal to take some great shots for the recap. Check it out below.
RO JAMES
I appreciate Ro James giving us permission to enjoy his sultry neo soul R&B sounds and giving a front row of his amazing voice. He was just in Atlanta to perform at One Music Fest, he loves the city so much he returned! I met him then and he is actual a really great guy with good vibes. He is a little bit rock too and his own hype man. Even though his songs are melodic he knows how to move the crowd and give us some good energy!
Jhene Aiko
She is literally one of my favorite singers. She is more toned down than Beyonce and Rihanna, but she is my vibe seriously. Soul sister, bohemian, sultry, seductive, chilled and free-spirited. All of her music has the same chill vibe. She didnt even have to dance all over the stage, just a sway and twirl in her cute kimono. She is definitely my spirit animal, or twin flame something. Love her.
Jhene Aiko release a surprise album recently. Her sophomore album Trip is a 22-track project, full of heavyweight features. The album features appearances from Big Sean, Brandy, Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee, and many more.

I like Jhene but i feel like she’s still trying to find her path with her music. It’s a hit or miss for me. I hope to hear more music from her as she grows in her career. Live music is always 1st choices for me. Even if its music I’ve never heard before. It’s about getting into the vibe and being open. There is so much talent that hasn’t been discovered.
