Things to Do in Atlanta | PuttShack – Miniature Golf of the Future! Monday 24 May, 2021

Puttshack, the only upscale tech-infused mini golf experience with global food & beverage, will open the doors to its first U.S. location at The Interlock in Atlanta’s emerging Westside Provisions District in the Howell Mill area.
I was so impressed and I can see how the Puttshack will be a fun Adult play-ground and Night out on the town! The game play will be matched by an innovative, globally inspired dining menu, full cocktail bar and an all-around upscale and inviting entertainment space that opens onto an expansive indoor-outdoor rooftop patio.
PATIO
The patio was impressive! For the Spring and Summer this is a perfect rooftop-ish patio vibe to have amazing drinks and food while being in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The food here actually shocked me! When you go to interactive adventure spots usually like bowling or golf, you get typical food. Puttshack actually has an array of food options and all types of international inspired dishes. I would literally come here for the food alone!
The drinks are also fun crafted cocktails that are equally as creative as the food! My favorite was the spicy Mexican Mezcal Margarita!
If you want to have a more indoor dining and bar experiences, there are a plethora of eras to eat and choose your vibe. Lots of tvs to watch various sports games at the bar or the dining areas to have the meals as well.
MINI GOLF & BAR (UPSTAIRS)
Puttshack’s elevated entertainment experience will be an amazing night out by filling its massive 25,000 square feet with four tech-driven, highly competitive mini golf courses, powered by the leading patented Trackaball technology. This place is literally a neon-flooded mix of a putt-putt golf course that looks like the inside of an arcade game. The aesthetic definitely gives you 80s vibes meets the Jetsons!
Puttshack is as fun as your group of friends! I had fun with my media crew as we had so much fun commentary learning and playing this new hi-tech version of putt-putt golf! We had a really good time!
I literally do not remember when the last time I played mini golf prior to Puttshack. It had to be years ago so I already knew I was going to be super rusty. I actually played better than I thought I made a few holes-in-one! With this tech way of playing, everyone is assigned their own tee-ball with a smart chip in it that is programed to your name and keeps score everywhere you go.
Puttshack was founded by Steve and Dave Jolliffe, original founders of Topgolf and World Golf Systems, and Adam Breeden, co-founder of Flight Club, Ace Bounce and All Star Lanes. So if Puttshack almost gave Topgolf vibes, same founders!
Now this putt-putt golf experience is amazing because the bar extends upstairs. Lots of seating if you want a break from playing or want to celebrate your wins! There is also servers walking around and taking drink orders as you play. At each putt putt station, there are also drink tables to rest eveyones drinks while they play. I actually had an inside joke, the more you drink the better you play (+21 vibes only).
Last but not least, it wouldn’t be a fun place without a fun photo op spot! I had to take a picture of the soon to be infamous neon-lit sign that cleverly says, “Check Out My Putt”. You have to take a picture by this sign before you leave. I think my “putt” was pretty nice!
If you are visiting or live in the Atlanta area, this is definitely a place to visit and hang out! Be a big kid and have some fun!
