ANNOUCEMENT: Im Going to Finally Meet Oprah #WrinkleInTimeEvent! | Disney Exclusive Press Event Thursday 22 February, 2018
I just got back from my first Disney press trip for #BlackPantherEvent only a month ago, and I am already invited again to cover the upcoming A Wrinkle In Time film! I cannot believe it. Per Disney, I have been upgraded from a newbie to a twobie (how cute) as far a blogging for them. I will be leaving this weekend to go to Los Angeles once again to cover this movie and more! A Wrinkle In Time
A Wrinkle In Time (Synopsis) – From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.
I am please to share with you all the most epic news I gotten in a long time. I will be in the room with OPRAH WINFREY! I will get a chance to not only meet her, but she will be in the press junket interviewing sessions the Disney bloggers and I will have for A Wrinkle In Time. Omg I get to interview Oprah?! This is literally making my media dreams come true. I have been in media for a long time, graduated with my degree in Mass Media Communications, and I have always said if I can get to meet with Oprah, I would of reached a pivotal point in my media career. I spoke it into existence and it is finally happening!
So we did get a full schedule of who we will be chatting with for A Wrinkle In Time interviews. Of course as I excitely just announced the one and only Oprah Winfrey (“Mrs. Which”), Reese Witherspoon (“Mrs. Whatsit”) & Mindy Kaling (“Mrs. Who”), Storm Reid (“Meg Murry”), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (“Dr. Kate Murry”), Rowan Blanchard (“Veronica”), Levi Miller (“Calvin”), Deric McCabe (“Charles Wallace Murry”), Director Ava DuVernay and Screenwriter Jennifer Lee.
I will also be participating in a walking the red carpet, premiere screening and attending the official premiere party for A WRINKLE IN TIME.
A WRINKLE IN TIME opens in theaters everywhere on March 19, 2018!

Based on the podcast StartUp, Alex Schuman (Zach Braff, “Scrubs”) is a brilliant radio journalist, husband and father of two who is about to do something crazy – quit his job and start his own company. He quickly discovers it’s going to be a lot harder than he thought. Zach Braff stars, directs and is executive producer with Matt Tarses (“Scrubs”) and Davis Entertainment (“Dr. Ken,” “Blacklist”).

SCANDAL THE FINAL SEASON
‘Scandal’ The Final Season – The Washington, D.C. drama follows a political fixer named Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her team of associates who sacrifice their time, and often their morals, to “handle” unimaginable crises affecting the nation’s elite. Throughout the last six seasons, “Scandal” has used OMG storytelling to explore political culture, gender disparities, sexual politics and race in America.
The seventh and monumental final season of “Scandal” will return with a brand new White House administration that includes Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) as the first female president of the United States, Cyrus Beane (Jeff Perry) as the vice president, and Olivia Pope as Mellie’s chief of staff. Olivia also doubles as the head of the newly reinstated top secret government agency B6-13, with Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) working by her side.

SPLITTING UP TOGETHER
SPLITTING UP TOGETHER (premiering Tues 3/27 at 9:30|8:30c) Based on the Danish series, “Splitting Up Together” is the story of a couple (Jenna Fischer, “The Office,” and Oliver Hudson, “Scream Queens”) whose marriage is reignited by their divorce. Emily Kapnek (“Suburgatory”) writes and serves as executive producer of this new comedy, along with Ellen DeGeneres.

DECEPTION
Deception premieres on Sunday, March 11, right after the premiere of American Idol on ABC

FOR THE PEOPLE (series premiere Tuesday, March 13 at 10|9c) Set in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (a.k.a. “The Mother Court”), the new Shondaland series show follows six talented young lawyers working on opposite sides of the law and handling the most high-profile and high-stakes federal cases in the country.
I will be participating in “For The People” screening, Q&A and photos with Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Allison Adams”), Susannah Flood (“Kate Littlejohn”) and Wesam Keesh (“Jay Simmons”).

I saw a behind-the-scenes video of A Wrinkle In Time last weekend. It looks like it’s going to be an awesome movie. Well written and directed! How awesome that you’ll be meeting Oprah, Reese and Mindy!

I’ve never wanted to meet Oprah, but I did want to be in the audience of her talk show years ago. My daughter is so excited about seeing this movie! She’s read the book, so seeing the movie is only the next option.

Years ago I saw Oprah at the daytime Emmy awards, when I was a magazine editor. It was a wonderful experience. All of the shows look great, but a Wrinkle in Time is extra special, because the book was a favorite of mine from childhood. Enjoy!
Oprah is such a huge star in her own right that just being in the same room as her would be enough for me. I would be ecstatic if that happens. I will wait for your post about your interview with her!
