What does your next Girl Trip look like? I wanted to do something different and coordinated a girl’s trip to the cabins! My friends and I just recently had a fall/winter getaway to the cabins and it was amazing. We booked two tiny cabins and had a ball away from the city of Atlanta. Sometimes the “getaway” needs to be back in nature!
Getaway’s Atlanta Outpost provides overconnected Southerners with access to 40 tiny cabins in a tranquil, yet accessible, wooded property in Suches, Georgia, also known as “The Valley Above the Clouds” due to its high elevation and scenic views of the Chattahoochee National Forest.
At Getaway, they believe in building balance into your modern life – taking the time to rest and unplug from the daily hustle and to focus on yourself, your relationships, and the wonder of nature. Relax and recharge with Getaway Atlanta’s simple escape to a tiny cabin in Suches, GA, just under a two-hour drive from Atlanta and nestled in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
Offering no-frills escapes and absolutely no Wi-Fi, Getaway will debut cabins near Atlanta in July meant to help camping-averse city dwellers unplug in a simplified way. The company currently operates near New York, Washington, D.C., and Boston.

Cabins are between 140 and 200 square feet) with modern-leaning exteriors and wood-clad interiors. All cabins come with air-conditioning (or fans), heat, and hot showers. Basics like salt and pepper and cooking oil are provided, while snacks, coffee, firewoods, and other roughing-it essentials are for sale.

These type of cabins are the only way anyone is going to get me to camp LOL It looks like fun. Sadly I am so stuck on Wi-fi, I might lose my mind! I guess that’s why I need to go right?
The cabin is awesome. It is just the right size without having to feel cramped. If only my best friends lived close by, I would seriously consider arranging a cabin trip with them. A weekend off would work wonders for me.
This is something my wife and her friends should do. They could mix business with relaxation, and make a camping conference out of it. I should recommend this idea to her.
These tiny outposts actually look really awesome. They are so cute and tiny yet has all of the essentials you need to escape. Are they all over the US or just in Georgia?
