{Kiwi The Beauty Treats} Lip Look Book With Five Milani Colors Saturday 24 May, 2014
It’s summer and it’s time to play with some vibrant colors on your lips with some lipsticks and lipglosses. I decided to play with some Milani Cosmetic products to showcase a brief lip look book for inspiration to make your pucker pretty. I am not much of a fashionista at all, but I have alway been a beauty product junkie and I feel naked without something on my lips. Lipsticks/glosses are clothes for my face – can I be considered a beauty-nista (how come people like to put -nista after cool titles)?
Milani Cosmetics also had a cute campaign to ask “What Does Your Lips Say About You“? I decided that My Pucker Has A Personality, and I wanted to showcase that in five different hues of lippies.

Lip Look Book Video
So these are the color that I choose for the lip look book. They are ok, I am more of a lipstick girl than a lipgloss girl. Lipgloss can be so sticky at times and not as pigmented as a lipstick at time. But surprisingly out of all of the lip colors from this look book, my favorite one was actually…
The Red My Lip lipgloss! I was actually surprised, because as stated, I really don’t wear lipgloss as much anymore. But this lippy was definitely pigmented and vibrant! It was a fun color, and it definitely had a personality for my pucker! Also a girl can never have too many red lipsticks, at least not me (and can you believe I just started to wear red lipsticks last year)? The color that definitely came in second place was Chocolate Berries lipstick, which I was surprised as well because I thought it wouldn’t be summer appropriate, but you know what who says you can’t rock a sexy darker lip color in the summer?
I will definitely be doing another lip look book series. Until then you can find Milani Cosmetic products at your favorite beauty or drugstore. I got all of these colors at CVS.

I think Mai Tai and Red my lips are the best for your complexion. I couldn’t pull off more than the mai Tai!

Wow! Those colors aren’t blah or boring like some lip glosses! How are they for staying power?
I am totally not a lipgloss person, but these do have great staying power. I would say for longevity put the gloss on top of a lipstick still.
Those look really great on you. I have trouble finding the right lipstick for me, plus I am allergic to something in lipsticks.

I love the Mai-Tai Milani color! I am more of a clear gloss girl- I need to get over that and try some color!
You can really rock the lip colors! I usually do a coat of lip balm! I need to be more adventurous!
There are just so many colors to choose from. I’m sure that I can get the right color combination for any occasion with this product. 🙂
