What Makes You Brave? | NBC’s #TheBrave Monday 09 October, 2017
When was the last time you did anything brave? The definition of brave is ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage. In these modern times with all that is going on in the world right now, we all are finding ways to be bravier than ever before.
To expect the unexpected and try not to panic and come up with solution. Being brave comes in so many forms; one can be brave while speaking up for yourself and others, one can be brave within their careers, and one can even be brave in the most turmoil situations. Bravery comes from the gut, but it is not one of the easiest human qualities to have. It takes real courage and determination to be a brave person and I want to share some traits on what can make someone a braver person.
Facing Fears
When you have a fear or when there is a time where its either fight or flight. Many people of course run from their fears, but some braves ones will fight against it. If you are brave enough to go head on with your fears, you will instant be brave. It takes true guts to push yourself with you are really heighten with fear or phobia.
Optimism
Being positive when things around you aren’t as optimistic is bravery. It can be easy to feed into negativity when possible things around you seem bleek. The news, conditions, certain people and situations that are some what depressing seem like it should be contagious to be negative. Its brave to be optimistic in these times because you can be the one to make others feel at ease.
Going Against The Grain
Doing what others won’t do is bravery. It can be unconventional, dangerous or just uncomfortable, but if you the type of person who will sign up when others would back out it takes a certain kind of bravery for that. You step out the box, you do not take the average path like most, and you can also do this while facing your fears with optimism will give you a new level of respect to people. When many go against the grain, some are label “crazy” or “risk taker” but someone has to step out and do the impossible at time.
I was inspired by showcasing what can make one a bravier person by the new NBC show called The Brave.

Bravery. Now that’s a word worth pondering. I think we are all inherently brave, but we don’t really realize it until we have to be strong through a situation. I’m a person that tip-toes into everything and sometimes, it’s hard to find the courage to do it, so I just tell myself to do it scared. Courage is a badge to be worn with honor…we just have to dig for it. Great post!

I am currently facing some of my fears to leave a job and move to a new career. I’ll have to check this show out and see if it relates to the change I am making in my life.
I have never seen this show before but it does sound interesting. I think there are a lot of things that make people brave, and it isn’t necessarily limited to extreme situations where only one will do something necessary.

Going up to work even though he has high fever, a lady save a life of a man with heart attack on a plane, a mum in India who workd hard to give her daughter a pair of new shoes….we live in a world full of braver!

I am always drawn to stories of bravery probably because I don’t think I am very brave ha ha. I find it inspiring how people can put their lives on the line for others and lead such courageous lives. I will have to check out this show! It sounds like it is addictive.

Its not easy being brave,but it is needed to get out of our comfort zone. To move forward and achieve our goals we need yo be brave, not easy but it can be done. I would also love to watch this movie, I am sure it will be an interesting one.

The Brave is SUCH a good show! I wasn’t sure if I’d like it when I first started watching, but it only took about 10 minutes for me to be hooked.
