NEW MOVIE ALERT: FERDINAND new animated film with multicultural voice-over cast Friday 31 March, 2017

I am here to present you all with a new movie alert to get excited about this year for the upcoming animation “Ferndinand”. I am excited about sharing this film and trailer with you as you all get a sneak peak of this movie which is based on the book, “The Story of Ferdinand”. One of the best things I realized when learning about the film is the very diverse and multi-cultural voice-over casting! This is exciting as I am all for diversity in films and media and this is going to be a great representation to children and adults once it is in theaters. Read below the synopsis and the casting info and watch the trailer!

FERDINAND tells the story of a giant bull with a big heart. After being mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Set in Spain, Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover.

From Blue Sky Studios and Carlos Saldanha, the director of “Rio” and inspired by the beloved book “The Story of Ferdinand” by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, “Ferdinand” is a heartwarming animated comedy adventure with an all-star cast that includes John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Gina Rodriguez, Anthony Anderson and many more..
