{Event Recap} Indique Boutique Atlanta | Hosted by Letoya Luckett Tuesday 10 September, 2013
Indique Hair, one of the leading premium hair extension brands in the U.S., had it’s boutique grand opening party in AtlantaIt was an impressive chic affair introducing the Atlanta ladies to the 2000 sq ft swanky boutique with lavish festivities.
It’s a bputique and a beautiful showroom of top-of-the-line premium hair extension of all different textures and colors. The Atlanta space joins the other ten Indique Boutique locations around the world including Brooklyn, Soho, & Little Neck in New York,New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston and South Africa.
I got a great opportunity to interview the co-owner of the Indique Hair brand, Ericka Dotson, in which she is growing her brand across the united states. Very sweet and humble woman who had a dream and overachieved her vision to open her own hair boutique. Her hair is simply to die for – love the curls and color (it’s from the Indique Hair Collection).
The lady of the hour, LeToya Luckett, graced the pink carpet as the official hostess of the Indique Atlanta Party. She was so pretty and graceful, and looked uber cute in this nude bodycon cut-out dress.
LeToya Luckett (singer/actress – Formerly of Destiny’s Child) spoke to the attendees of her brand ambassadorship with the Indique Hair brand. She wears the hair extension herself and gave great reviews. She most importantly stress to support women in business and just gave high regards to Ericka Dotson and her vision for the hair boutique. LeToya is very charismatic, with a great sense of humor that made everyone feel like she was just a regular down-to-earth woman.
Mariah Huq (reality star/producer of Married to Married) stopped by Indique Boutique for local support of the grand opening.
My favorite part of the event was that I got a chance to interview LeToya Luckett one-on-one for an exclusive chat for Sheen Magazine. That was big for me because I have been a fan of her since her Destiny’s Child days and her own solo career so it was surreal. I literally listened to her last CD, Lady Love, on repeat for an entire summer because it was just that good! The exclusive interview will be featured in Sheen Magazine’s Nov/Dec issue.
We chatted about her new hosting gig on Centric TV ‘The Culture List‘ in which she gets to interview celebs! We also got the chance to talk about her new upcoming reoccuring role on the hit romantic comedy series on VH1 ‘Single Ladies’ for Season 3. She is multi-talented and definitely keeping busy with all the gigs she has. She is still singing too everyone, so an album is coming out in the near future.
I loved the interview with her very humble and sweet- and oh look – I got her to do my famous “kissy face” pose.
Watch Letoya Luckett weekly on Centric TV “Culture List” Sundays at 11 PM ET/PT
Look out for LeToya on Single Lades Season 3 | January 2014.
The event itself was just a ladies day of fun.

If you are wondering where I got my cute lace peak-a-boo romper it’s from JapowBoutique. I got such great compliments from wearing this chic piece I had to share where I obtained it. I love JaPow Boutique, very affordable and trendy clothes that will definitely make any girl stand out. The eclectic earrings are also featured by Japow Boutique.

I truly enjoyed this event. A definite must visit if you are in Atlanta and looking for more hair options. Sometimes a beauty supply story doesn’t carry your specific hair needs. Although I am natural, I think I will be visiting Indique again in the near future so I can get some natural curly extensions for clip-ins.
Thank you to Nicole Garner of the Garner Circle for coordinating a fabulous event.

Love Social Media-lite,
It looks like it was so much fun. I was invited but went to the BLM event instead. Love all the pics girly!
Thats the problem in Atlanta, so many events so little time.
Thank you!!
