{Movie Review} Draft Day Pre-Screening Party in Atlanta | #DraftDayATL Friday 04 April, 2014

I was invited to a great interactive movie premiere for an upcoming movie Draft Day in Atlanta. The movie stars Kevin Costner, Jenifer Garner and Terry Crews which showcases exactly what the movie title initiates which is “Draft Day” for the NFL. I will be honest I am not a football fan, not really I watch it but I am more invested in Basketball (Go Lakers) but hey I am always interested in learning more about the sport the behind the scenes aspects of it. Sports can be really fun so I was really excited for the festivities about this event.

CBS Radio on-air personalities Big Tigger (WVEE-FM) and Kordell Stewart (WZGC-FM) gathered to host a special advance screening of the new Summit Entertainment, sports film, DRAFTY DAY, on Thursday, April 3 at AMC Parkway Pointe. The hosts and attendees participated in an NFL Madden Gaming Lounge, the OMG Booth and other sports themed activities.

Additional notable screening attendees included: Mishon (Columbia Records R&B Artist), George Wilson (Tennessee Titans NFL Player), Ronnie Brown (San Diego Chargers NFL Player) and the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers football team.

DRAFT DAY Synopsis & Trailer

On the day of the NFL Draft, general manager Sonny Weaver (Kevin Costner) has the opportunity to save football in Cleveland when he trades for the number one pick. He must quickly decide what he’s willing to sacrifice in pursuit of perfection as the lines between his personal and professional life become blurred on a life-changing day for a few hundred young men with dreams of playing in the NFL.

OMG BOOTH FUN!

I had fun in the OMG Booth per usual with my blogger friends Nikka Shae(Oh Nikka!) + Sonya (Sonya’s Spotlight) and my long-time friend Marcus as my special guest. We enjoyed the movie, which showcases the adrenaline rush and intensity of a depiction how NFL coaches go through the stress off an actual Draft Day pick.
