Stone Mountain Spring Fun Break with the Kiddies! Friday 08 April, 2016
Spring Break was this week in the area of Georgia where I lived and all of the kids were out from school. Stone Mountain Park open their theme park for the ones who was out for the week and invited myself and family to enjoy the new spring experience. I dont have any kids as you guys know but I do have my baby cousin Monet & my goddaughter Channing who got a chance to have fun at the park! Monet is now 4, as you all remember her from my blog when I took her to the park for the Christmas celebrations. Monet is 4 and Channing is 3.9 years old and this was their first time meeting!
I thought it would be cute to have a Girl Day out with the kiddies and explore the park with them. Channing’s mother is my best friend, she had to work during most of the fun so I did my godmommy duties and took her! As I told you all several times, I used to work at the park as a teen, and once again this experience is so different than how I was used to when I actually worked here many moons ago.
Celebrate the beauty of spring with a memorable day at Atlanta’s favorite natural wonderland for Stone Mountain Park’s Spring FUN Break. Take a hike with the wildest bears on Earth! Join YOGI BEAR and BOO BOO as they grab lunch one picnic basket at a time in YOGI BEAR 4-D Adventure. Enjoy exciting attractions including, SkyHike®, one of the nation’s largest adventure ropes courses, Geyser Towers®, a one-of-a-kind water adventure, Summit Skyride, where you can soar to the top of the mountain for unprecedented views of the city, Ride The Ducks™, where you can tour the Park in a splashy way, and much more! Some of the Spring Break Captures with the toddlers!
Be sure to stay into the night for the Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision®, showing nightly* during Spring FUN Break. State-of-the-art graphics and breathtaking effects create multi-dimensional magic on one of the world’s largest outdoor screens – Stone Mountain. Channing’s mother (my best friend Lexi) showed up just in time. I seen the laser show many time since I was a child and when I worked at the park, but I think they changed up the showing since then. More modern songs and different things they are highlighting so it was a new show. They loved the actual show and there were lots of fireworks too in between (although the toddlers thought it was too loud but bearable). After the laser show, which lasted around an hour – they were tired! They had a long day!
Stone Mountain Park’s Spring FUN Break was fun for the kids! They had a good time with all of the activities. If you have school aged kids there is even more things to do and the amusement fun isn’t just for spring break, its every weekend – and it will be everyday in the summer!

Looks like a great way to spend spring break. We usually go to the beach.
It looks like the kiddos had a great time! You guys all look so adorable. And who doesn’t love bubbles!
I have been to Georgia once when I was 18 and I had an amazing time, fast forward 16 years later and three kids I definitely need to come up for another visit.

Ah your kiddos look like they loved their spring break. Ours was a few weeks back and we went to Colorado. It’s good to get away and do fun things you don’t normally do.
I wish we lived closer! It looks like a blast and I bet my kids would have enjoyed it.

It looks like fun! We almost went there for Spring Break but we headed towards Tennessee instead. We have never done the duck boats there. I want to do it next time!

Such a precious time to spend with your beautiful children.
Looks like great fun! Wish they had something like that here where live, looks a like a fun day out and the kids would love it to!
SO fun! Sounds like the perfect place to take the family. Love the photos!
What a fun place to bring my kids. I hope we can go there
Great fun and beautiful pictures! We were off last week as well and went to see my brother and his sweet family, they live in France.
They look like they had a wonderful time! I think it’s fun that you got to go. I miss my godbaby being little. She’s grown and has a little of her own now. 🙂
Obviously the kids had fun just by looking at the photos. I love going out with my boys and just let them enjoy their time playing and giggling. In our country, we dont have spring but kids do not have classes during summer season. I will make sure they have a well-spent vacation, too.
How fun! We missed visiting Stone Mountain when we went to Atlanta. I hope we get to visit it next time though.
I love Stone Mountain Park. It is always fun to visit. My kids have fun every time we go.
