NBC’s TAKEN SEASON ONE FINALE [WEEKLY CHAT WITH GAIUS CHARLES] Friday 19 May, 2017
So if you have been following you have known for the last few months I have been having monthly chats with NBC’s Taken star Gaius Charles. Met him at the Atlanta press junket dinner for NBC’s Taken, then I was asked to do a monthly conference call to chat with him about each episode. This has been great and amazing to be able to talk with a celebrity every week about each episode in detail.
In case you aren’t aware, Taken is the prequel series of the movie trilogy of the same name that aired this year on NBC. It is a show about Bryan Mills character that goes back to his earlier years as a black ops agent with the backstory on him and his agent team and even his love interest.
Gaius Charles plays a character named “John” who is on Bryan Mills black op team. John is a stern, ice-cold, no game playing agent who has to check Bryan Mills from time to time. He had a very strong presence on the show and it was great to talk to Gaius about each episode, behind the scenes and his opinion about his character. I will not ruin the last episode because I actually think it will be more thrill for you to watch the show. I encourage a good binge watching of NBC Taken Season 1 (you can watch them all here).
So I will not be doing a Season One finale recap of Taken. I don’t want to give anything away, but I really would love for you to watch the show from Episode 1-10 and share with me your thoughts. Like I said in a few post, I am not normally an action show watching person. Taken has changed my mind with the storyline. Its not about just actions, stunts and crime scenes. There is an amazing storyline with twist, turns, jumps and even some heartfelt moments.

Congratulations to NBC Taken for getting renewed! I can’t wait to indulge in Season 2.

Thank you for this post. I hadn’t watched Taken yet (because I rarely watch tv) however, I will definitely consider adding it to my binge watch list. I thoroughly enjoyed the movies.
This is awesome. I loved the films and I think its great that they made a series about it. I’m sure it was pretty exciting to interview one of the stars!
I’m definitely missing out on this show. I need to get with the program, looks like I’ll have to cram these seasons in to catch up. Thanks for the previews!
I love taken the movie and havent had a chance to watch the show, i am excited to see the lead actor in a different light, playing.a more suspenseful role.
Will have to check this out on Netflix. Perfect timing as i’ve been looking for something interesting to watch since im all caught up on ‘Designated Survivor’ x
I loved the movie so knew I had to watch the show. So far so good. I like how it is giving us a look at how he became who he is. So glad it’s been renewed for another season! Can’t wait!
I’m going to binge watch this this weekend. I’ve seen a couple of episodes, and I love it.
This is my favorite show. They finally gave us an action show that’s a REAL action show, but it also has a story.

Yay! That’s good news! I love this series! It is a rarity to find shows worth watching nowadays, and I am happy I have found at least one – Taken.
