Disney/Pixar Incredibles 2 Was Definitely Worth the 14 Year Wait! | Non-Spoiler Movie Review Friday 15 June, 2018

I was hosted and sponsored with an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to cover #Incredibles2Event #PixarFest #BigCityGreensEvent. Thank you Disney for the opportunity!

So my entire press trip to Los Angeles for the #Incredible2Event was pretty incredible! I know cliche, but it was and now I am able to share with you all my thoughts on the film. Before we get into the film, I got a chance to do some fun Disney/Pixar promo activations with the Incredible 2 movie. I got to meet Life Sized Edna Mode, Play with some of the official Incredible 2 toys, and a fun Edna Moda approved photo booth! I have to thank Disney for always having some of the best press activation and events!

This was also the same day as the interviews so check out the interviews I’ve done for Incredibles 2.

My Review

I did go see Incredibles 2 again with my niece and nephew. These kids think they are excited but I was a fan before they were even a concept! I feel justified to go to the movies as a big kid and go themed up! I was gifted at the #Incredibles2Event with some goodies and I wore some Dash Parr inspired socked and they gifted me a Funko Pop.

My No-Spoiler Review

I thought it was absolutely amazing. I was an older teen when it came out in 2004 and I was so elated to see that this left off from my teen era! I will say you will notice the graphic are so much more vibrant and stronger. The storyline gets even better. The villian isnt who you think it will be at all.

SUPER FAMILY — In Disney Pixar’s “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home when a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot that only the Incredibles can overcome together. Also featuring the voices of Sarah Vowell as Violet and Huck Milner as Dash, “Incredibles 2” opens in U.S. theaters on June 15, 2018. ©2017 Disney•Pixar. All Rights Reserved.

Incredible Parents

SHE’S BACK – Elastigirl may have hung up her Supersuit when the Supers were lying low, but in “Incredibles 2,” she’s recruited to lead a campaign to bring them back into the spotlight. With the full support of her family behind her, Helen finds she’s still at the top of her game when it comes to fighting crime. Featuring the voice of Holly Hunter as Helen Parr aka Elastigirl, “Incredibles 2” opens in U.S. theaters June 15, 2018. ©2018 Disney•Pixar. All Rights Reserved.

HE’S GOT THIS – Bob Parr aka Mr. Incredible attempts his most heroic feat yet: spearheading life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack, whose super powers are about to be discovered by his family. Written and directed by Brad Bird and produced by John Walker and Nicole Paradis Grindle, Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018. ©2018 Disney•Pixar. Elastigirl get a lot of time to shine. She takes girl power literally in this movie! On the flipside, Mr.Incredible is actually on more daddy duty. I appreciate it because I am happy to see a stay-at-home day portray on such a prominent movie! You will definitely see Mr.Incredible be an incredible dad!

Incredible Kids

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT – In the midst of battling the Underminer villain, Violet protects her family by throwing one of her most super force fields yet. Featuring Sarah Vowell as the voice of Violet, Holly Hunter as the voice of Helen, Craig T. Nelson as the voice of Bob and Huck Milner as the voice of Dash, Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018. ©2018 Disney•Pixar. All Rights Reserved.

The kids get an ample part of the movie in being heroic in their own rights. Jack Jack is still as adorable as ever. I kept saying aw throughout the entire film! Jack Jack is pretty incredible himself, in fact he steals the show of the movie. Really he does.

New Super Friends

SUPER DREAMS – When Elastigirl is called on to lead a mission to bring back Supers, she meets a group of new Supers who aspire to join the ranks, including Voyd, a mega-fan whose superpower is the ability to divert and manipulate objects around her. Featuring the voices of Holly Hunter as Helen aka Elastigirl, Sophia Bush as Voyd, Phil LaMarr as Krushauer and HeLectrix, and Paul Eiding as Reflux, “Incredibles 2” opens in U.S. theaters on June 15, 2018.. ©2018 Disney•Pixar. So the Incredibles 2 doesn’t disappoint, we see out old familiar faces but some new ones pop up too! The superhero world is expanding!

Frozone Forever Friend

CHILLING OUT – Frozone is back in “Incredibles 2,” cooler than ever and lending a helping hand when the Parrs need him most. Featuring the voices of Huckleberry Milner as Dash, Sarah Vowell as Violet ad Samuel L. Jackson as Frozone aka Lucius Best, “Incredibles 2” opens in U.S. theaters on June 15, 2018. ©2018 Disney•Pixar. All Righs Reserved.

Frozone, is still a trusted family friend. Always there to help the Incredible Family and keep things as chill as ever still in his supersuit!

Edna, Darling

Edna is still as fabulous as ever. Still charming but she has a new muse. Wait until you see how she grooms her new masterpiece for the betterment of the superworld!

Kids Review

I went again in Atlanta to take my nephew and niece to see the film. They saw I went to Los Angeles, so they decided it was Auntie Kiwi’s duty to share the experience with them. They both werent even born when the original came out, but they were avid fans of the original. Here are their authentic thoughts on the Incredibles 2 movie!

Elijah (13): It was cool. (He is too “cool” to say he loves it).

Jordan (10): I dont like it, I love it! I will see it again and again!

Verdict is that the Incredibles 2 was well worth the wait. I am so happy where is an animated movie where the whole family can go and have a SUPER good time. Its hard for a movie to come back with a powerful sequel after a 14 year hiatus but it overexceced expectations! Kids who loved the original, adults who were children who watched the original, and the new generation of kids will fall in love with the Incredible family and friends! It’s out in theaters now and I would highly recommend to make it a family affair!

Disneyland + PixarFest is doing a lot of celebration in honor of the upcoming Incredibles 2 film coming up. The Incredible Family is featured at the Pixar Parade, The Nighttime Spectacular show and on the new upcoming Incrediocoaster at the Pixar Pier. Check out the trailer and stayed tune for my Incredible 2 movie review!
